Are you familiar with mircodermabrasion? Microdermabrasion uses physical exfoliation to help slough away the top layer of skin to give it a healthy glow and help increase cell turnover. Have you been to a spa or dermatologist's office for a microdermabrasion treatment? If so, you may have loved how each and every dead skin cell was removed and may have benefited from softer skin, less noticeable fine lines and even a reduction in acne. Microdermabrasion can benefit oily or dry skin, but those with sensitive skin should proceed with caution.

What if we told you that you could get all of those same benefits of a spa or dermatologist microdermabrasion treatment -- for way less money -- by using an at-home microdermabrasion product? It's totally possible! There are tons of kits, creams and scrubs out there that claim to do the job, but TotalBeauty.com readers have shared which ones really work.

Check out the list of the top 10 microdermabrasion products according to TotalBeauty.com readers. Readers claim that all of these will give you smooth, soft skin, clear up acne and wrinkles, and won't cause any redness or irritation. We think it's time to toss that dermatologist's phone number (you won't need those treatments anymore) and head to your nearest beauty supply store.

you have to be careful with these if you have oily skin - the irritation caused by the abrasion can actually make your skin overproduce more oil and make your skin worse.

Nice product roundup, but I was stunned not to see the iconic Philosophy microdermabrasion peel set among these! It's extraordinary.

They're pricey. I have diamond peel once a month in my favorite spa in under 5 dollars per session. So far, so good.

I wish i had enough money to just get regular microdermabrasion facials at a nice spa.

This is awesome! Exactly the type of thing I was looking for. I've spend a few hundred on microdermabrasion before, so I would love to see the results of these. I think I'm going to try the Olay one. I liked the look of DERMAdoctor, but a bit too expensive for my taste - especially with several cheaper options.
