I'm 52 and thought I would try lip stain after I saw a makeover on Revolution - I had quit wearing lip color since it would feather into my lip creases, lip stain is the answer it stays put! I bought one yesterday and I'm stopping by on my way home to pick up a red one!

Lip Stains are drying in general, so I was attracted to this one because of the lip balm attached. I didn't hate it like some of the other reviewers, but I didn't love it either. For a quick cheapy lip color, this is okay and to me so far the best out of the drugstore brands stains (I've tried mabeline... the worst!!) just because of the lip balm attached. I think I will use covergirl next. Stay tuned!

Nice Product.

I have 2 of these... one in a hot pink and one in a dark berry red. The berry red is amazing. The hot pink is very vibrant & fun. The lip color lasts a long time and does not come off. Would buy again.

Lip stain

This is great for doing things when you don't want your lip color to rub off. I use my own moisture lip gloss afterward, and I can go to donna, do a photo shoot, or make out with my boyfriend and it stays put!

Very disappointing

I really wanted to love this product because i prefer lip stains to lipsticks. It was hard to apply it evenly, and would end up being too dark because I would have to go over it a few times just to make it even. And the balm of one of them broke off. I still love the idea of it though.

Great

This is a great product. I love the dual ends but after a few times, it took more swipes to get color. It might be because I got a shade almost exactly my lip color though :)

Disappointed

Lip color was good. But after awhile it's kind of hard to get the product out, not very nice for people with chapped lips, this product accentuates your dried lips (cos you have to color it in), doesn't last long AT ALL.

hmmm

I love the colors and the balm but the lip stain comes off 20 min after applying especially if i eat or drink!!

Worst lip product ever

This product does not deliver any noticeable about of color, the applicator is hard, and it really dries the lips - not worth the trip to the drug store.

Bad Rep for a Great, Inexpensive Product!

I can't understand how this product gets such poor reviews... and it's only on Total Beauty that I've seen scores this low! Honestly this is definitely the best lipstain under $20. The colors are gorgeous and... instead of "not showing up" are actually almost TOO pigmented. These give an incredibly natural flush to your lips, while still being colorful and fun. They don't dry out your lips at ...read moreall (especially compared to Covergirl's), and when you use the "gloss balm" on the other end, you get instant hydration, as well as a whole new look.
