  This color is more flattering than the first two lip stains, and I'm glad they didn't give up. Third time is the charm. It applies easier and smoother than any other lip stain I have with a far more natural color that you can layer for a deeper darker color, or swipe quickly and remove excess for just a little color.   WOW!

  I purchased this product about 3 weeks ago and I love it. it IS a universal color. And it has remarkable staying power. Where as I'm a burnette with freckels and I have a medium and rosey complextion, the color look fantastic on me alone and with my regular lipstick! My sister has golden blond hair and extremely fair skin a...nd it looked fantastic on her as well. One of the cool things about this? You apply it 1 time. Thats it. I'm a smoker and for the fellow smokers out there, you know how hard it is to find a lip product that stays, beccuase 10 out of 10 times the lip product gets rubbed off. But with this product? NOPE NOT AT ALL! And another cool thing? It's 1 step. Yep thats it thats all. No more fooling with 2 steps and constantly having to repeat the second step o your color doesn't look flat and dealing with gummy feeling lips. This rocks! December 11, 2007, 7:36 am

  A *real* lipstain in the convenience of a pen

  I'm a lipstain junkie and I have tried so many out there, from expensive to cheap. This is one of the best lipstain I have tried thus far. It has a felt tip applicator reminiscent of a marker for extremely precise application. The product goes on smooth, streak-free and evenly. The finish is sheer to semi-sheer but can ...be built upon with additional swipes of the product. At first I was reluctant to try this, seeing as it only comes in one color and thought the color wouldn't flatter me at all. But...the color truly is universal. I was really surprised it worked out for me. It's very flattering and totally wearable for daytime without looking harsh. It gives just the right amount of flush that give you that "your lips, only better" effect. Lasting power is excellent too, lasting thru light meals and a beverage. I'd give it about 5 hrs without fading. It's non-drying, even when worn alone but for added moisture, I top it off with a colorless lip balm. Unlike other lipstains that leave a ring around your mouth when it fades, this product does not and instead, fades evenly. A truly excellent lipstain. Yes it's not cheap, but this product truly delivers in performance. October 11, 2009, 2:17 am

  Actually works!

  This is a stain that has a nice (not perfect for my skin, but better than most if you're a white chick with olive skin and dark hair and eyes, looking for a "natural" lip color) color. The marker packaging of this product actually works for a LONG time (I bought mine when it was introduced a couple of years ago a...nd it STILL works!) When the tip starts drying a bit, you can remove and flip it over using the end that goes on the inside of the tube and the stain is very concentrated. Then flip it back over on the next use and it works like the day I bought it. Doesn't last "forever" like some stains, but Lancome is onto something with this product and packaging. I just wish you could still buy it and in more shades. December 6, 2008, 10:20 am

  Staying power

  I love this lip stain. It is long lasting and easy to apply with the "marker" tip. I like to use it with a little gloss. I would recommend this over any of "long lasting" lip products there are! June 16, 2008, 10:46 am
