New shampoo to try!

This shampoo was pretty awesome! On days when I had a lot of styling product in my hair (Mousse, Gel, Hairspray) it took two washes to have my hair feel "clean". I loved the smell of the shampoo! It reminded me of the shampoo smells at the salon. I used the product daily including after workouts in the pool and heat styling. I liked that it didn't mess with the color in my hair. My hair is normally very dry due to the blonde I have in it. I would purchase this shampoo in the future.

great product

I tried the Clairol Professional Repair Daily Shampoo that I received for 3 weeks. It made my hair feel healthier and more manageable. I love the scent of the shampoo. Great product.

Not for highlighted hair!

I received this product for review. The product stripped my hair color and ruined my highlights turning them orange. It did make my hair super soft and clean feeling. I would only recommend this product to someone that doesn't have color-treated hair.

Really Great Product

This shampoo lathered really well and smells heavenly, which is a huge plus! when i rinsed it out my hair felt very clean and soft, unlike other shampoos that leave your hair feeling tangly and nasty. i love it. i highly suggest trying this product, you wont be disapoionted!

CLAIROL PROFESSIONAL REPAIR DAILY SHAMPOO REVIEWS

This Shampoo was sent to me free so I was excited about free bottle of shampoo for color treated hair with shampoo and conditioner in one. Then I tried it.... I cleans and leave hair soft, however, it faded my color big time. Also, I would prefer a my shampoo and conditioner to be separate.

Does help somewhat

I wish I could say that using this shampoo made my hair wonderful again instead of the dry, damaged, frizzy mess that it has become. I'm guessing the fact that the static level from my house and the warmer clothes that I have to wear in the winter is just more than any shampoo can fix. After 3/4 of the bottle and washing my hair about every 3 days, I do think that the first day it's clean, soft, l...read moreess frizzy and looks shiny. By the second day it's starting to revert to it's badness and by the 3rd day it looks like it has to be washed now. Because I haven't tried a same brand conditioner with the shampoo maybe that would help. I do plan to look for it when I go shopping later today and then I will see if that helps while I still have some shampoo left. So basically - Using the shampoo and then using my apply and rinse conditioner ( I tried 3 different ones with the same results) really hasn't made much difference compared to the other shampoo's that I had been using. My hair is colored but desperately needs a do over as it's been almost 6 months but I really need to get my hair healthier first and I really hoped this would be a miracle cure.

Great but Could be better

I had been searching with my stylist for a long time for a shampoo perfect for me. I think I may have found it. I normally have my hair colored every few months and the ends start to get dry in between colorings. My hair is normally dry on the ends and gets oily at the scalp toward the end of the day. After the first time using it, I told everyone I knew about it. It felt like a miracle. It nourished the ends of my hair while making it bouncy, shiny, and it wasn't greasy anymore. I was amazed with how it worked at home in Fl in the humidity as well as the dry cold air in Maryland when I traveled there a week later. My only complaint is that after the first 2 weeks, I started to get a oily buildup at the front of my scalp after I styled it. It really disappointed me at that point. I switched shampoos for a few days then went back to the Clairol. But the truth is, it was definitely worth having amazing hair for 2 weeks. I would absolutely buy it again as long as I alternated with a different shampoo to keep it from getting oily. Before receiving this shampoo, I had no idea there was shampoo by the Clairol brand. I had only known about their hair colors. I have recommended it to so many people already. This is a great shampoo.

Clairol Professional Shampoo, Pro 4Plex, Repair Color Safe

This sample was sent to me for review. My below shoulder length hair is very thin, fine, straight and colored at home with a semi-permanent product. Rarely does a blow dryer, curling iron or rollers touch this hair. It should have benefited from a professional shampoo but remains, after three weeks usage, to be dry, flat, falling out without any remarkable positive changes. A leave-in conditio...read morener was necessary after all the knotting up with the first use. After the first week of using this product my hair looked and felt greasy but still needed a conditioner to remove the tangles. The bottle is very convenient for using in the shower being plastic, slim and having a push open/close flat cap. I wasn’t impressed with the scent and couldn’t really say that it held the coloring product longer than my regular shampoo nor did it repair the hair. The creamy formula was nice; it lathered and rinsed out well too. The shampoo cleaned my hair.

Good Value, Good Result

I used Clairol Professional Repair Daily Shampoo when I received a bottle for free. I was not aware of the product before then. I am so glad I did! I wanted to see what this shampoo was really about, so I purposely used it without using any conditioner or other hair products afterward. I have thick, somewhat coarse, waste-length hair. This means I typically go through a lot of shampoo even in just...read more one wash. But with the Clairol Professional, I only needed a small dollop (maybe slightly more than quarter size), and it lathered up enough to thoroughly saturate my scalp and the full length of my hair. I'd actually used too much! That never happens to me! I liked that very much. I washed my hair, toweled it off and then let it air dry the rest of the way. I was not prepared for how soft my hair felt. It was as if I had conditioned it. I actually checked the bottle to see if it was a 2-in-1 product. It's not. My hair also looked especially shiny. Bonus! My hair is dyed, and I typically get a little oily in my scalp, but a little dry on my ends. This product worked well for both.
