    I love it!

I've been looking for an alternative to getting my face waxed for some time now. I have really baby fine blond "down" on my face that I hate. It's just a personal preference because you have to be very close to me to see it but it aggravates me! I have some home waxing stuff but it doesn't seem to grip the baby fine hair along my jaw, lip, chin.. well everywhere. I used this product and was amazed...read more at the results. It really does what it's supposed to do (lol! imagine that..). The ONLY thing I would want differently, and this may just be me, but I'd like the balm to come in a color or something. It was kind of hard for me to tell if I had applied it everywhere I was putting the cream. It would be helpful to see the difference between "unbalmed" skin and "balmed" skin. Also, word to the wise: when they say wait 72 hrs between applications they MEAN wait 72 hours! Definitely not a complaint because I was the one not following the directions but I did it anyway... I have only very mild skin irritation around my lips. So that's not even too bad. — 1 year, 4 months ago

Wasted money but got to return it

I used this product for "medium to coarse" hair. I can't find that exact match here, but this is close enough. I've always had trouble with a moustache. Bleaching it just leaves me with a white moustache, and waxing would require me to actually grow one like a man. The protective balm is a good idea, as it made the irritation less. But not only did it still irritate, it didn't WORK on the *...read more&^%$#@ coarse hairs. Those are the ones that are a problem. It did remove the fine hairs, but those are barely visible. These depilatories never worked for me. I thought this would cause of Allure's rating of "Best in Beauty" award or whatever. Just goes to show just cause some magazine says it's great doesn't mean it will be to you too. Even after waiting the maximum 10 minutes, the coarse hair was stubborn. My hair is dark, so trying to keep that upper lip smooth is a pain. Tweezing them would be REALLY painful since the skin is tender near the nose. I can't get to those hairs with any depilatory or razor. Will have to grit my teeth and pluck them. Thankfully, the store took it back. It's awfully expensive for a measly 12 uses, and depending on how much you need to use it, that will go just like that. If it at least WORKED, the small quantity wouldn't be so bad! — 1 year, 4 months ago

    Mixed feelings

I was hearing a lot about this product and at that time I was trying to find something for at home because I was on bed rest. I really like the protective balm, I feel no sting and my skin doesn't get irritated. After a few uses I noticed my hairs were getting stubby and I didn't like that. My personal opinion.. this product is not worth 25 bucks. Better off going to get waxed or threaded. — 2 years ago

    Best Dipilatory

I have tried bleaching, waxing, and other dipilatory products before; all of made my skin red and bumpy. This products works pretty well, it removes the peach fuzz but, like another reviewer said not any thicker hairs. I used the product 2-3 times on the thicker hairs and they eventually came out. I hate tweezing so, it was worth it to me to try the cream multiple times. I had a little redness...read more but nothing that lasted very long like my previous experiences. So far, its the best dipilatory that I've tried. — 2 years, 1 month ago

    Loved It. You will too.

I have to say I've threaded, tweezed, and waxed. They all hurt! It was surprising that this worked so well. The balm gets rubbed on for 20 seconds in a circular motion and a thick layer of cream. Wait 5-8 min but don't exceed 10 min. then vuala its done. Just rub off. I have to admit the first time I tried it it left some hairs I did the min I think 6min ( I have thin hair). I tried it on an in-l...read moreaw and it came out perfect . I left it on her for the full 10min.(She has thicker hair). Its a must buy! You will love it. But don't put on twice to get any forgotten hair. It will burn you. It won't be pretty its like dotty burns. Trust me I made that mistake the first time I used it. I didn't think it would work but I'm a believer now. Enjoy and save money. — 2 years, 6 months ago
