    Mixed feelings

I was hearing a lot about this product and at that time I was trying to find something for at home because I was on bed rest. I really like the protective balm, I feel no sting and my skin doesn't get irritated. After a few uses I noticed my hairs were getting stubby and I didn't like that. My personal opinion.. this product is not worth 25 bucks. Better off going to get waxed or threaded.

    Best Dipilatory

I have tried bleaching, waxing, and other dipilatory products before; all of made my skin red and bumpy. This products works pretty well, it removes the peach fuzz but, like another reviewer said not any thicker hairs. I used the product 2-3 times on the thicker hairs and they eventually came out. I hate tweezing so, it was worth it to me to try the cream multiple times. I had a little more but nothing that lasted very long like my previous experiences. So far, its the best dipilatory that I've tried.

    Loved It. You will too.

I have to say I've threaded, tweezed, and waxed. They all hurt! It was surprising that this worked so well. The balm gets rubbed on for 20 seconds in a circular motion and a thick layer of cream. Wait 5-8 min but don't exceed 10 min. then vuala its done. Just rub off. I have to admit the first time I tried it it left some hairs I did the min I think 6min ( I have thin hair). I tried it on an moreaw and it came out perfect . I left it on her for the full 10min.(She has thicker hair). Its a must buy! You will love it. But don't put on twice to get any forgotten hair. It will burn you. It won't be pretty its like dotty burns. Trust me I made that mistake the first time I used it. I didn't think it would work but I'm a believer now. Enjoy and save money.

    Still Hairy

I picked-up Olay hair remover after reading all the great reviews as way to save money. I agree with other reviewers, the instructions are clear and easy to follow. I liked that the applicators for both the protective balm and the removal cream are the same as a lipsticks. This makes for a “no mess application” as oppose to using a spatula. The chemical smell is a lot less intense than “ more” which I really appreciated. The protective balm did a great job. My skin was not burned or irritated. However, the cream did not effectively remove all or even most of my facial hair. I applied it to my upper lip and chin area. I also left it on for the max time of 10 minutes. It did remove some of my “peach fuzz” and I think it brought to the surface some hair that was growing but I ended up with a 5 o’clock shadow. I had to go over the entire area (lip and chin) with my tweezers. Luckily, I did this in the evening and was prepared as I had to do the same thing when I tried “Nair.” I will say this, the box does clearly state for fine to medium hair. So I have concluded that I have coarse hair. I paid about $24 which is about what I usually pay for lip and chin hair removal when I go to the esthetician. I think that’s reasonable considering you get about 8 uses of course, only if you have fine to medium hair and it works for you. I will not purchase it again but I will finish what I already purchased.

    mixed feelings

this is honestly the first hair removal product i have used so this was a totally new exprience for me. the instructions were very clear and i did not find the smell at all offensive. i left on for about 6 minutes and was really impressed with the effectivness at removing my light facial hair. i removed as descirebed in the instructions, rinsed and patted dry. a couple of minutes later i moreed to get a slight irritation which lasted a couple of hours along with a strange tingling sensation. very uncomfortable. i don't know if this occured because this is the first time i have used a product like this or if this area of my face is just very sensitive. the test i did prior to using on my face did not leave me with this irritation so i was very surprised. i will try to use this product again as the hair grows back and hopefully will not experience this same reaction.

    Olay Hair Removal Duo

When I heard Olay was coming out with this product I couldn't wait to give it a try. So much so that I called their customer service to find out when it would be released in stores and decided I couldn't wait so I ordered it online. What I liked about this product is the ease of use and it is less painful than waxing. The hair removal treatment (2nd step of the application) has a faint smell moreimilar to that of Nair. After removing the treatment, I did have to rub the treated area to remove some of the hair but the courser hairs I had to tweeze. I experienced a slight irritation which may have been contributed to the product or could have been from rubbing the treated area afterward but it went away soon after. As far as the results, the treated area was smooth as the name suggests and I found it to inhibit hair growth for probably a little over a week.
