Organix Renewing Moroccan Argan Oil Shampoo Reviews

Nice
I bought this because I wanted a more moisturizing shampoo to use during the winter. Since I have very fine, flat hair all of my other shampoos are either meant to create volume or to clarify. I have been using this about once a week for use between my other shampoos and I really like it. The smell is very light and unisex. It reminds me of a body wash my boyfriend would use, actually. I love that this is sulfate free because I have a sensitive scalp. Even without sulfates, this lathers really well for me. When I rinse this out, my hair feels clean and smooth. I was happy to find that despite being a moisturizing shampoo, this did not weigh my hair down. My scalp didn't get oily any sooner than with my normal volumizing shampoos either. This didn't feel as nourishing as some more high end moisturizing shampoos I have tried, but it does the trick for me since I don't have thick, coarse or damaged hair. — 4 months, 1 week agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Not great when used by itself
This shampoo only works well when used with the conditioner. It has a really nice smell to it, not too strong though. After rinsing the shampoo out my hair felt really coarse and not smooth at all. Only when I used the conditioner did I really feel a big difference in the texture of my hair. — 1 year, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 5 of 7 people said helpful

disappointed
I bought this line hoping that the argan oil would help tame my damaged, frizzy hair. The shampoo smells nice, but it does not lather well. I've read that lathering is not really necessary for a good shampoo, but I'm used to it and I still like it in a shampoo. I used this with the conditioner, and wrapped my hair in a shower cap to keep the heat in, but I still really did not notice any difference in the results. Guess I'll be sticking with the more expensive moroccon oil products — 1 year, 9 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 4 people said helpful

I liked this!
I always struggled with an oily scalp but lately Ive been using too much clarifying shampoo and my hair was so stripped it was in serious need of moisture! I bought this just out of curiosity (and Im a fan of organic) I loved it, it was really rich and it really brings the hair back to life, however I must advise you this is a pretty rich kick of moisture so sometimes I even use my clarifying before if im worried about build-up. — 1 year, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 11 of 11 people said helpful

nice
I have tried several of the products in this line. I am committed to using non-sulfate products since I color my hair. This is the best one I have tried so far. My hair is very long, thick, curly and a bit coarse. This product (I use it with conditioner, of course) is the best so far for keeping it calm, shiny and really soft. It does not seem to matter if I use the matching conditioner or not. I also like the fact that it is pretty inexpensive. I usually get it at Ulta and for example the day before yesterday they had a buy one get one free sale on all their Organix products. It smells really nice also as do all their products. I do think that if you use all the matching items (shampoo, conditioner, and even their Argan oil to be applied after you get out of the shower) that it makes the biggest difference. I have tried a LOT of products to calm down my hair and this is probably the one I like the best. Some shampoos (especially some of the sulfate-free ones) require more product since they do not lather as much as sulfate shampoos. This is the nature of the chemistry. Sulfate enhances lathering but on the downside it strips your hair. I did not feel that I had to use quite as much of this product as I did with others. It does lather quite easily and it rinses out easily as well. None of the sulfate-free shampoos do it quite as well as the ones containing that chemical but this one ranks higher than most. Maybe because of the Argan oil and/or other emollients in the product. Give this a try - especially those of you with thick and coarse hair. I think you will really enjoy this product. — 5 months, 2 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

This product is full of fillers
I tried using this product and literally it made my hair brittle! NOt a fan, and it has no real affects of Moroccan oil, I just have been using sodium free shampoos and using Sveda's Morracan Argan Oil! Hair is strong and never been so healthy! — 1 week, 1 day agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Argan oil
This is my fave shampoo right now. What I do is use a clean white t shirt to dry my hair instead of a towel to reduce drizzles. I love this shampoo. — 2 months, 1 week agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Not the best
I bought this shampoo at the recommendation of a friend who said she loves it and uses it regularly. I thought i would too. It has a pleasant smell that isn't too strong but my biggest issue with it is that it doesn't leave my hair feeling "clean". Also, it doesn't leave my hair feeling softer after rinsing it. It smells great but I'll be skipping this shampoo from now on. — 7 months, 1 week agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Amazing!
I got this at Costco for a very reasonable price, and it came in a 3-pack with the conditioner and leave-in treatment. When all are used together, it's amazing! It's leaves my severely heat damaged hair feeling silky and smooth, plus, it smells delicious! I will defiantly be repurchasing this!:) — 10 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
