Not great when used by itself

This shampoo only works well when used with the conditioner. It has a really nice smell to it, not too strong though. After rinsing the shampoo out my hair felt really coarse and not smooth at all. I bought this line hoping that the argan oil would help tame my damaged, frizzy hair. The shampoo smells nice, but it does not lather well. I've read that lathering is not really necessary for a good shampoo, but I'm used to it and I still like it in a shampoo. I used this with the conditioner, and wrapped my hair in a shower cap to keep the heat in, but I still really did not notice any difference in the results. I had high hopes for this shampoo after hearing so much about the Moroccan Oil craze...I was really disappointed. My hair is usually very soft but this left me with tangly hair that had a strange rough texture. Once it was dry it felt very heavy and oily.
