It does keep on lipstick slightly more longer. I have deep ridges in my lips so it doesn't do too much for smoothing it out. I got this product on accident when I originally ordered the eye shadow insurance. When you put this lip primer on, it makes your lips very smooth. Which I really liked at first. Of course you can't wear it by itself because it turns your lips a pasty white color. But when I put my MAC lipstick, or any other lipstick/gloss on top of it for that matter, it clumps up. It becomes all gooey and I end up wiping it off. Which also sucks because it is very hard to just rub off.
