My Lipstick Stays in Place
Too Faced's "Lip Primer" works well for me. It applies smoothly. After I wait a minute, my lips become a matte (but not dry) canvas for the lip color to wear. It does extend the life of lipstick and gloss and prevents color from wandering. It's okay.
It does keep on lipstick slightly more longer. I have deep ridges in my lips so it doesn't do too much for smoothing it out. Lipstick does still come off, this just helps you with less touch-ups.This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 3 people said helpful

I LOVE this product! I have tried every lip primer out there and this is by far, the best. You need very little, just a quick swipe along your lip line, wait a few minutes for it to set (which is critical with any lip primer), and then apply your lipstick. Doesn't do much.
For the price, it doesn't do much. It only makes lipstick stay a little bit longer. My mother always taught me to use chapstick under your lipstick to make it stay longer. Now I use a balm stain under my lipstick instead. It makes my color last forever, even when the top coat comes off! Try to choose a balm or balm stain that matches your favorite lipstick color. Never used a lip primer
I've never used a lip primer before, I wasn't sure what to expect. It went on smooth dried and then I put lipgloss over it. I can't say that I noticed any real difference with it. Make lipstick last!
This works great to smooth lips and prepare them for lipstick. It makes your lips matte. It prevents feathering and lipstick on your teeth. It makes lipstick last longer through licking your lips, eating, drinks, kissing, sweating, etc. I always hate having to reapply lipstick constantly. This prevents that. Really surprised- I love it!
I have to say that I'm really surprised how much I like this! It actually held my lipstick & gloss on, and kept it from bleeding/feathering, but the best thing is that it didn't dry out my lips! It goes on like a creamy lip balm, but when it dries it becomes matte, but still soft, and it isn't drying at all, which is what I had feared. Definitely something to consider
I have tried everything in the book to keep my glosses and lipsticks from moving. It is such a pain to have to worry about, and my lips tend to feather glosses more than anything. But this product keeps the gloss on and in place, another bonus, it doesn't dry out my lips, which I was worried about. I do drink a lot of water, so I anticipate touch ups from that, but other than that I haven't had too many problems with this product. So I have never used a lip primer mainly because I did not think it was very essential. I had an opportunity to review this and I am glad I tried it...it works and I am very happy.
