La Roche-Posay Anthelios 60 Ultra Light Sunscreen Fluid Reviews

Incredible.
Normally I had been using Clarins UV Plus Day Screen SPF 40 prior to my latest appointment with my dermatologist. I like that it was a thinner fluid sunscreen because it went on my face easier. However, it was a hit or miss whether it would cause breakouts or not depending on how frequently I've been using this. SO, the nurse assistant actually hooked me up with a few sample tubes of this sunscreen and WOW!! I'm impressed. Apparently it has a lot of things that people find questionable putting on their skin, but I'm surprised I haven't had a breakout using this, even when I have EXTREMELY sensitive skin, plus rosacea and eczema. This also lightly hydrates too. Since I have very dry skin, most moisturizers tend to be too light for me and thicker creams cause me to break out, so this is a good small added hydration on top of my moisturizer. I like that this absorbs just as well as the Clarins, and you're going to have to shake it verrrry well prior to pouring it out. This stuff is much cheaper than Clarins (Anthelios costs about $30 whereas Clarins costs $38 for the same fluid volume). However, it's a little harder to get as opposed to Clarins; you either have to order it online or buy it at the Pharmacy counter at Walgreens or CVS (you don't need a prescription but your dermatologist can prescribe it to you). Like the Clarins, it's going to leave a slight white veil over your face, but at least this leaves a matte finish. It's suitable to wear under make up, but like any sunscreens, you're going to need oil blotting sheets or a little powder after a few hours. My skin feels very comfortable outside in the sun, I don't feel any burning at all and this is under the strong Arizona sun that will only get stronger as the summer approaches. Yes, it's a small bottle (1.7 oz) for $30 (your doctor may give you coupons) OR you can find it for a few dollars cheaper online (don't know about the freshness or the reliability of the seller). Give this a try! It's a no brainer that sun protection is a must! — 1 year, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 4 people said helpful

I've started multiple friends on this
Over the years, I struggled to find a sunscreen that didn't feel thick and greasy. This one is the answer! It is light, smooth and soaks into the skin. It actually makes the perfect primer to use before makeup. I have started multiple friends and family members on this who all continue to use it. I recommend this! — 10 months, 1 week agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

La-Roche Posay's best product
This is my favorite face sunscreen, it goes on nice and light and I don't feel it (I don't like how chemical sunscreen feels on my face!) It carries well in my purse - I have put this through some extreme use, at the lake and all day on the back of a motorcycle - and it is easy to reapply, even when my face is sweaty. I will buy again, as soon as I can afford to... — 1 year, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

BEST for Oily/Combo SKIN!!!!!
SPF Protects skin w/o the greasy feel! Silky going on, soaks in/dries quickly to matte/semi-matte finish! *Repeat purchase, can't find another SPF product that has the matte like finish. NO mask of sunscreen "feel". NO burn= no extra wrinkles or breakouts! Love Love Love!!!! Sun tested (by me), and approved! ;0) — 1 year agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

Love it
Ive recently become worried about sun protection and guarding myself from future damage. This was the first thing I tried, because of its high SPF, and I loved it immediately. It's thin and has almost a powder finish which is great for my oily skin. It didn't leave me looking shiny which I was worried about. The only reason I stopped using it was because I found something I like just a little better. I have absolutely no complaints about the la Roche posay, but I just loved Josie Marans argon oil SPF more! — 1 year, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

One Of Best Investments You'll Make!
Renewed faith in this product. The first time I ever used this was this past summer and around that time, I was trying out a new moisturizer -- biggest mistake ever! After many months and weeks of swapping things in and out of my skin care routine just to see what's messing my skin up, I've worked out the moisturizer was breaking me out! I thought it was this sunscreen that was breaking me out, but it was the moisturizer. I was trying out the Aveeno Positively Radiant moisturizer. It's terrible. I had rounds of break outs, mostly cystic pimples! Once they start to subside and calm down, another round would come. It was a never ending cycle. I am still dealing with the marks from all this breaking out. Anyways, I used this SPF recently when I went on a trip and it didn't break me out at all. It comes in a small plastic bottle container with a screw top. You have to shake it really well to mix the content up before applying to your face. It absorbs super fast into the skin and it was rather light. It does feel a tad bit greasy initially when I was applying it with my fingers, but once it absorbs into the skin, it's really not a problem at all. And it's not sticky! I think it's a bit on the expensive side and the price is comparable to the department store brands, but I think this is worth the investment. A little bit goes a long way and that little bottle (1.7 oz) has lasted me through the summer and then some. I actually like the small bottle packaging because it's small and the bottle is thin, not big and bulky. I can throw into my makeup bag or handbag and carry it with me. And this will protect from UVA and UVB rays! — 2 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 11 of 11 people said helpful
