    Neat product horrible packaging!

This is the perfect example of a decent product failing because of a disastrous packaging. The gloss duo combines two yummy colors in squeezable tubes so they can be worn alone or mixed together for customizable combinations. While the idea is really clever, the delivery itself is far from user-friendly. It took me 5 minutes to figure out how to open the cap and I even had difficulty getting the ...read moreglosses out from the tubes, let alone controlling the amount of product I want to use. The glosses themselves, however, are pretty nice, especially if you are into that super wet lip look. All 20 colors are very wearable and they smell GREAT, just like candy. Plus the texture is non-sticky, super light and they give a lot of shine which is perfect for the summer. It's time to revamp the packaging, L'oreal!

    Non sticky goodness

The Loreal HIP Color Presso Lip glosses belong to the new trend of two in one glosses. You've got two colors - one the pigmented one and the other a more shimmery shade. You can use both at a time - you need a lotta talent for this or you can do what I do and use them separately - now that does not mean I don't have the talent. I just like em that way. That's right. Texture wise, these are aaooos...read moreome !! Some of the best drugstore lip glosses. They going straight onto my favorites list (updated list found here). They cost $ 14 Now that's up to you to decide if you wanna get a Loreal for $14 or a MAC lip glass for $14. I personally find many of the MAC lip glasses heavy and a bit on the thick & sticky side. But then, as many would say - its MAC. I'd say its Loreal ;) You see, these are totally non sticky and feel like the smoothest and lightest pastry cream on you lips. Also you have to remember that you can often find drugstore beauty goodies on BOGOF or at discounted prices. Try having a MAC BOGOF. Now that would be a crazy world !

    I'm hip on HiP

I really enjoyed using the L'Oreal Color Presso. I think that it is a great idea combining 2 beautiful color lip glosses in one easy to use compact applicator. Additionally, I love the fact that I can experiment with different color combinations creating a different look depending on my mood. Finally, my lips were left super soft.

    L'Oreal HIP Color Presso Review

I don't know if it's just me, but it took me a good five minutes to figure out how to open this lip gloss. Lip gloss shouldn't be this difficult. I can't understand why they didn't just make a regular, double-ended gloss? Anyway, once I finally got it open, I realized you can apply color from either side or mix the two. Kind of cute, I guess. But both colors I tried (Swanky and Trendy) were so la...read moreckluster that it didn't really add up to a whole lot. They resulted in a nondescript frosty looking gloss on my lips. That said, the glosses are super soft, non-sticky and moisturizing. They smell kind of like cake batter, which isn'tt too bad, but a little too sweet for my taste. And while pleasant to apply, the gloss wears off too quickly and without enough color payoff. And, major points off for the packaging, which is confusing and overly gimmicky. Since this retails for $13.00, I would say you can get a much better gloss for that price elsewhere.

Nice colors, but applicator is kind of a pain

I really liked the colors and how you can combine them to get even better colors, but it's a little hard to squeeze both of the tubes (or just one) at the same time while applying.
