Soothing
My main eye concern is dark circles, though my eyes can get puffy at times. I keep my Yes to Cucumbers Eye Gel in the fridge and when I apply it, it feels great and soothing. I do think this helps with puffiness. A little product also goes a really long way. However, I don't think this eye gel is effective for much else. It doesn't feel nourishing and moisturizing like a cream would. It doesn't aide my dark circles in any way. Say "No" to Hype!
I read all of the great reviews on this product and couldn't wait to go out and try it! I bought it at Target, with a coupon since I am a budget beauty, and am disappointed with this. Yes it smells nice, yes there is a lot of product for the price and yes it is cooling and soothing (especially in the fridge, as other reviewers suggested!) but that's about all. There really are no other benefits for this product. I don't feel like it offers any true moisture or anti-aging protection, or even relief of puffiness. However, as a novelty, fun, "pick me up" type of product, it works just fine. I have tried the Olay eye gel before and Yes to Cucumbers is much better, but it really doesn't do anything beyond this. glides on my tired eyes.
I have been using this for over 6 months and find it to be very soothing on my skin. I have had no issues with this product and really enjoy the ingredients. Waste of money on a water Based product!
Last year I got a daily deal for 50% off, so I decided to get the whole cucumber kit as well as Blueberry. This was Horrible! It felt like just water on my eyes. I tried making use and using it on my face and chest, but it did absolutely NOTHING!. In fact it was kind of flaking and peeling off of my eyes, like I put a mask on. I contacted the company and asked about it, but they just sent me a complementary whole kit of Everything in this product line. I ended up giving the extra away. I somehow got another one, thinking the cucumber would help with my eyes puffing up after having juviderm, but it did NOthing again. great for puffiness and irritation...
But not much else. I'm still giving it a great review, because it doesn't claim to address wrinkles or dark circles. It is very soothing, and I keep it in the fridge for a refreshing pick-me-up on mornings I'm puffy. Not for dark circles only puffiness
If your getting this for dark circles don't waste your money. Good for puffiness though but you CAN NOT WEAR MAKUP over this product. it leaves a shiny wax over your face and feels really sticky.
