Yes To Cucumbers Eye Gel
My under-eye circles have always been troublesome for me. I've tried several creams, and gels to tackle this problem, but this product caught me off guard. It comes packaged in a pump-style container, and is a clear-colored gel like substance. The texture and smell of this product, reminds me of the peel-off cucumber face mask ( for those of you who've tried it). It has a light, true to cucumber s...read moremell, that I find quite refreshing. Upon application, this gel feels soothing and cool. It has a little stickiness to it when you spread the product, and it continues to feel cold until it dries. Once dried, this product looks shiny. I didn't enjoy the fact that everyone could clearly see I had this product on my face, due to shiny spots under my eyes. Another thing I didn't like, was that if the product is rubbed after drying (everyone gets that "itch" during the day!), the shiny spots under my eyes turned into something similar to eraser residue (erase on a piece of paper, and the stuff left on the paper is what I'm referring to). The product bunched, and turned into little cucumber gel balls dangling from my face. Aside from the issue I had with the substance, this product did diminish my under-eye circles a bit. I noticed that my eyes looked a little more refreshed and awake after using it. I don't feel that this product moisturized, nourished, or hydrated the skin (maybe this is due to the frustration of picking the gel balls off, LOL). I think this would be a great overnight gel to use for under-eye circles, but I will not be using it during the day anymore. I wanted to love this product. It has so many great properties, such as ; 99% Natural, Hypoallergenic, Paraben Free, and a portion of proceeds goes to their "Yes To Seed Fund" which teaches kids about nature and living healthier lifestyles. Unfortunately, I set my standards too high for this one. great for puffiness and irritation...
But not much else. I'm still giving it a great review, because it doesn't claim to address wrinkles or dark circles. It is very soothing, and I keep it in the fridge for a refreshing pick-me-up on mornings I'm puffy. Not for dark circles only puffiness
If your getting this for dark circles don't waste your money. Good for puffiness though but you CAN NOT WEAR MAKUP over this product. it leaves a shiny wax over your face and feels really sticky. Disappointed to say the least.
I am always iffy about buying new products due to the un efficiency/price tags these days. I did my research on this eye gel and decided w all the great reviews, I'd give it a try since my normal Clinique costs $30. Had high hopes and was extremely let down. It's been about a week and not only do I not see a difference.. But the product leaves a filmy/tacky residue under my eyes (not moisturizing ...read moreat all) and its difficult to apply make up over- even w lotion on top. Heaven Sent !
This product is astounding! Sure it maybe pretty pricy for a small pump container, I will say it does last forever, I forgot that I got this since late spring- so it IS worth it. The cucumbers are supposed to lighten up your skin, and have a cooling sensation- awesome for blood circulation and eye massages to reduce the leaky capillaries. Try keeping it in the refrigerator!
I love this eye gel in the summer time when I don't want to add any oil to my face. I store it in the refrigerator to awaken my tired eyes in the morning! It's very refreshing. great product, natural ingredients, cheap price!
After trying too many overpriced under eye creams I picked this up on a whim and couldn't be happier! It never leaves me feeling greasy, works great under makeup and instantly makes my eyes look and feel refreshed. After 3 days of use in the morning and before bed I could already tell the difference. I've never found a product that worked this well on under eye circles, especially for such a bargain price.
