I read all of the great reviews on this product and couldn't wait to go out and try it! I bought it at Target, with a coupon since I am a budget beauty, and am disappointed with this. Yes it smells nice, yes there is a lot of product for the price and yes it is cooling and soothing (especially in the fridge, as other reviewers suggested!) but that's about all. There really are no other benefits for this product. I don't feel like it offers any true moisture or anti-aging protection, or even relief of puffiness. However, as a novelty, fun, "pick me up" type of product, it works just fine. I have tried the Olay eye gel before and Yes to Cucumbers is much better, but it really doesn't do anything beyond this. My main eye concern is dark circles, though my eyes can get puffy at times. I keep my Yes to Cucumbers Eye Gel in the fridge and when I apply it, it feels great and soothing. I do think this helps with puffiness. A little product also goes a really long way. However, I don't think this eye gel is effective for much else. It doesn't feel nourishing and moisturizing like a cream would. It doesn't aide my dark circles in any way. I am always iffy about buying new products due to the un efficiency/price tags these days. I did my research on this eye gel and decided w all the great reviews, I'd give it a try since my normal Clinique costs $30. Had high hopes and was extremely let down. It's been about a week and not only do I not see a difference.. But the product leaves a filmy/tacky residue under my eyes (not moisturizing at all) and its difficult to apply make up over- even w lotion on top. This product is astounding! Sure it maybe pretty pricy for a small pump container, I will say it does last forever, I forgot that I got this since late spring- so it IS worth it. The cucumbers are supposed to lighten up your skin, and have a cooling sensation- awesome for blood circulation and eye massages to reduce the leaky capillaries.
