Not for me.
I'm not a fan of the dewy finish it gave me. I'd prefer more of a natural or matte finish. It's a good value, but it didn't go on my skin very well. covered pores beautifully
This product was better than I expected. It went on very smooth & silky, and it covered my large pores to a flawless finish. It covered all my redness and spots, and the shade choices are great. Hmm....NOPE!
I immediately came home and gave this product a test run. By it's self, it falls flat, but after apply a little bronzer and setting powder, my skin did look "air brushed". It does "fill in" some of the pores and small lines like it claims, however, it didn't do much for the wrinkles around my inner eye - it actually "settled" into the wrinkles. I'm going to give it a week before I make my final call on it. UPDATE: - My skin broke out! I felt like I was wearing a makeup mask. Clogged pores?
I had seen so many amazing reviews about this product online and one of my good blogger friends had recommended this item to me as a cheaper alternative to higher end products. This was not the case. My skin is not exactly great with foundations, and I had only wanted to try this product because I thought it would be a little gem, but it was terrible. The color payoff was not what it claimed to be, there was this really strong redish/pinkish undertone that did not sit well with my face, Also the skin was amazingly patchy, my skin looked really terrible when I had this makeup on. I would also try to make the formula a little more consistent by mixing a lotion but it would turn out very oily! I had trouble even using this product for more than a month. I think this foundation not only looked terrible, it did really terrible things to my skin. At the end of the day I would have to wash my face twice or so because the foundation just made my face feel really oily and my pores felt very clogged. Sometimes when I removed my make up I would even find small pimples that have appeared. it was terrible, I thought it was due to the acne but after I stopped using this foundation my skin cleared. This foundation is kind of what you would never want in a foundation, the coverage is terrible, the feeling is terribly oily, and it breaks out your skin. The price is not even cheap, I feel as if even the NYC foundation was a better product than this Maybeline one. I would not recommend this product for people with combination skin, oily skinn, or dry skin. This has to be the worst foundation I've ever used. I used it for two days and my skin broke out all over. I'll never had a break out like that in my life. when I wore it felt like I had a thin layer of grease on my face the whole time. Great product, especially for dry skin
Love love love this foundation! It gives great coverage and looks very natural on the skin. It can feel a little heavy, but it doesn't look it. It last all day on my face, and for my dry skin the dewy finish is perfect!
