Maybelline New York Dream Liquid Mousse Reviews

not superb
This product gave me medium coverage, which is ok since i do not have acne problems or large pores. It stayed on through my day and work and passed the ocean test at the beach. it also has to be blended with your fingers. a sponge does not work well with this foundation, neither does a brush. Maybelline New York Dream Mousse is a good choice for swimmers, but not for the fair skinned. the choice of color is not good. i have fair skin and the lightest shade didn't fit me. I waited til i was more tanned to use it. It also works for yellow-undertone-skin. — 2 years, 10 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

A DREAM COME TRUE!!
I use this foundation and love it!! Because it's a liquid mousse, it's little thicker then just a regular liquid foundation would be. It glides onto my skin and transforms my skin picture perfect. I will never use another liquid foundation after using this!! It's only $7.99 a bottle and since you don't need to apply a lot, it really lasts!! A staple for everyone's make-up bag in my book!! — 2 years, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 9 of 10 people said helpful

Love it!
I have oily, acne prone skin and even though this was very rich feeling It didn't clog my pores or cause any flair ups. Its not my number 1 choice in foundations but the coverage was very good, the price was fantastic and the dewey look is really beautiful I recieved a TON of compliments with this. One down-side is it feels heavy and greasy so I switched off and on between this and just a mineral loose powder to give my skin some air! — 1 year, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Love, love, love this makeup!
After trying several different types of drugstore and department store brands, I stumbled across this foundation and was intrigued by the claims that were advertised. After I tried it for the first time, I realized that the claims were true! It does give you an air-brushed, matte finish and covers with a light to medium coverage. Note that the formula is pretty concentrated, so begin with a little bit and then build up to the coverage that you prefer. If you have normal to dry skin, be sure to moisturize well or else it can look a bit cakey. The color selection does not favor lighter skin tones - it seems that the lightest shades would appear too dark on those who have very fair skin coloring. — 2 years, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

Great foundation value
This is great if you really like the Dream Matte Mousse foundation but have skin on the dry side, like me. I really liked the Dream Matte Mousse for its velvety texture but it wasn't moisturizing enough and actually accentuated dry spots and flakes on my face. The Dream Matte Liquid foundation is just the right texture for normal/dry skin; it blends so smoothly and stays looking fresh and glowing all day, not greasy and not too matte. Like some of the other reviwers said, the shades are on the dark side so choose one shade lighter than you'd normally pick. — 3 years, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Great Airbrush makeup
Very smooth and mousse to put on. Does give me that air brush kind of look. Cover greatly with my blemishes and scar. What I like most about it is that it match my skin tone very well and give me that photo like touch. What I don't like about it, is I do feel it heavy on my face like cake after a couple of hours after wearing it. The make up does come over. So becareful not to smudge it on your clothes. But would recommend if you like to wear it after hours at night or a shoot. — 1 month, 2 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

yuck
I hated this foundation it was very oily, thin and overall just didn't look good on my face. You could tell I had make up on, it was like a mask. — 2 months, 3 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

I love this
I'm really surprised that others have negative things to say about this foundation. I love it. I didn't find it greasy, it went on smoothly and blended well. It doesn't rub off easily but it doesn't look like stage makeup, either. I found a shade that matches my skin tone perfectly, and I love how well it covers imperfections. I don't find it cakey or chalky at all - just smooth and a reliable cover for blemishes and skin-tone variations. — 3 months, 2 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Don't like it
The texture was not as I thought...you have to apply it very fast and it settles in wrinkles. Bad for dry skin!! — 4 months, 2 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
