CHI 44 Iron Guard Thermal Protecting Spray Reviews

does the job
this is just like the chi silk fusion. it protects hair from heat damage and makes it silky. i like it except the silk fusion is better because it allows you to have more control over where you want the product to go. with this spray its not easy to make sure everything is evenly distributed. but it still works fantastically. — 3 years, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Not for my hair
This weights my hair down, I prefer Aveda products — 3 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Love it!
The first time I saw and tried this product I was in CVS. They had a sale on all their CHI haircare products so naturally I wanted to try it out. I never used to use a heat protectant on my hair and I don't know what I was thinking, especially because I straighten my hair pretty much every day with the CHI straightener. If anyone out there owns a CHI straightener, they know that there is only one setting: HOT!! I didn't realize or think about all the damage I was doing to my poor hair. My first use of this spray really showed me what I'd been missing out on by not using a protectant spray. My hair was soo silky and shiny and just felt healthier. And that was only after one use!! Now that I use it daily, I have really noticed a significant change in the health of my hair. I don't have breakage like I did before and it just has this radiant sheen to it that I can't stop admiring in the mirror (ok that totally sounded vain but seriously, you will be staring at the shine in your hair too!). The original price for this spray was $28 but it's a big bottle and you don't have to spray a ton on your hair to see results. And I almost forgot to mention that it smells AMAZING!! If you are in between washes, a little spritz of this and your hair smells great again! — 2 years, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 6 of 6 people said helpful

Pricy, but does it's job!
This stuff was the first heat spray I ever used, because I got a little bottle free at Ulta with something else I had bought. I had never realized that I needed a heat protectant for my hair, well stupid me! My hair immediatly felt softer, and healthier. The only downside, it's like 20 bucks, when I could get my beloved Tresemmee Heat spray for $3. — 1 year, 10 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Great product
CHI's Iron Guard is a product that helps protect my hair from the stresses of heat styling (curling iron, blow dryer) but doesn't weigh it down like other products can (unless, like most products, I use too much of it). It has a nice smell and does not feel sticky. I find that my hair looks healthier after using this spray. — 2 years, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

What can I say....
I love this but I only gave 9 stars instead of 10 cuz I have nothing to compare it to. I don't really use heat protectant spray because I don't think it really makes a difference that I can see. Anyways this doesn't change the silky texture of my fine hair and I LOVE how it dries so quick that I could just curl my hair seconds after I spray it on. Awesome product!!! — 4 months, 2 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Not that great.
This spray left my hair feeling somewhat soft, but kind of weighed my hair down, almost like the other heat protecting products that I used to use. — 7 months, 3 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Best thermal protector
This spray does everything it's supposed to do. It makes my hair silky smooth and protects it from breakage. I wouldn't reccomend using it more than you have to, though, as it is a heavy product and can easily make hair greasy if applied too often. The only downside is that it's hard to direct the spray. — 10 months, 2 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

44 Iron Guard
It doesnt smell that great, but it works. Im not a big fan of any of he chi shampoos or conditioners because they do make my hair greasy, but this product does work. I did notice less smoke from straightening my hair and less burnt smell. — 11 months, 3 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Mixed Feelings
It kinda made my hair stiff but after a day or two it looked better... not good but better. I have curly hair and its usually pretty frizzy if I don't use the right products. Maybe just not for me. — 1 year, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
