Great for vibrant, bold colors
by TwoBirds (284 reviews)Top 100 ReviewerManic Panic is a pretty good semi-permanent color. It works best of hair that is damaged so for my brown hair I have to blast it with bleach first, rinse, shampoo (without conditioner) and then slop it on. It is really easy to use. The colors are very vibrant and for the first 2 weeks or so they stay pretty bold before s...tarting to fade. I use less shampoo and sometimes "wash" my hair with conditioner instead to keep the color longer. After that I find I need to do touch-ups ever 2-4 weeks to keep my hair really bright, otherwise the color turns into a pastel version of itself and then a dingy blonde. This doesn't really work on brown hair and even on dishwater blonde hair I'd recommend a round of bleach first. Fun stuff. May 1, 2009, 8:21 am2 of 2 people found this review helpful.

A MUST for all of us non conformist hair color types!
by Janeevil (12 reviews)I've tried SO many semi permanent colors and this is the ONLY one that I find gives amazing color and lasts longer than other SP colors. No SP color lasts forever but Manic Panic outlasts them all...it's also vegetable based to it's vegan friendly and it conditions your hair as well. I have used Vampire Red and Red Pass...ion( more a cranberry color than bold red) . May 4, 2009, 8:10 am1 of 1 people found this review helpful.

Awesome
by thetmind91 (9 reviews)I love manic panic. I have been using it for years.. the only issue I have is that it doesn't last very long. BUT the colors are always very vibrant, and it's so great for your hair too. A color and conditioner in one.! October 25, 2008, 9:44 am1 of 1 people found this review helpful.

I've been using this stuff for years, and haven't gotten sick of it yet.
by Zabumiro (4 reviews)This has to be the overall best semi-permanent hair dye. The wide variety of colors is astonishing, too. I would go on about all the benefits, but I'll name just my favorite thing about it. That is the fact that you can mix different colors from the same brand together to make your own unique hair color. It's like mixing pa...ints. I have a mix of Electric Banana and Wildfire in my hair right now, because I couldn't find an orange I liked. And it looks fabulous if I don't say so myself. Long Lating but Semi misleading.
by chelseafm (3 reviews)Manic Panic is AMAZING, if you bleach your hair prior. This brand does not come with bleach, nor does it notify you that you need bleach. You cant wash you often after using this product, but it doesn't make your hair greasy. Over all its pretty good, you just have to strip your hair prior.
