I like this better than original Benetint
This is much better coloring than the original Benetint; much thicker liquid too, kind of like a nail polish, whereas the original Benetint is more of a thinner watery liquid. This is much better at showing pigment by using less. The thing is that I'm not TOO crazy at how bright pink this is on my skin, it doesn't look great on my tone. So-so
I like this better than the original red. It's a slightly thicker consistency so I spend less time building up to the color I want. It can get a little too pink, so I don't need to use a lot. Love it!
It's a good stain--also much better than Urban Decay's. Posietint is a nice color, can be built up for a brighter pink, and has good staying power. The Best Benefit Stain
I was weary of the Posietint because I really didn't like the original Benetint. This is more creamy and easier to apply with its brush than the other. I am pale and tend to like cool toned pink blushes so this works really nicely on me as a cheek stain. Often times, the liquid stains don't work as well on the skin as they do the lips so this being an actual two in one is a nice perk. On the lips, this is a bright pink. You can apply just one coat for a subtle pink flush or you can build up the layers for a brighter, darker pink which I really like. Like many liquid stains, you should exfoliate your lips before using so it doesn't go on patchy. Still I find this much easier to work with than other liquid stains I have tried. This costs $29 which seems steep but the bottle really lasts. This is ok

Beware fair skinned beauties!
A little goes a very long way with Posietint. The color is a lot better than Benetint (the original formulation). It will definitely work with many diverse skin tones and/or shades. Be careful though ... if you are fair skinned, a little goes a very long way.
