Awkward Brush

At first I thought the brush was going to be good for my lower lashes. But apparently, it is very awkward and hard to work with. But then again, my friends have this mascara and it works wonders for them. I guess mascaras work differently for different people. — 4 months ago

the brush is very hard and stiff. a very unusual brush. it doesnt add DRAMATIC volume. it looks okay.....it doesnt clump a whole lot. way less than the covergirl lash blast. it makes lashes hard. i like big lashes and it doesnt quite do it for me. its kind of a boring mascara. doesnt even lengthen lashes. one good thing about it is that it has something on the inside of the tube that makes it squeeze out extra mascara so you dont get too much on the brush. thats good so you dont have to do it yourself. i heard the colossal is way better. — 3 years, 10 months ago

Sorry, but no Volume

This formula is fine, but the wand does not give you volume as the name of the product. I applied it over and over, but it still didn't build volume. It is however a clean, clump-free formula, and it separates your lashes to a spiky finish. I will wear this when I want a more natural look. — 2 years, 6 months ago

The best thing about this mascara-- the stopper!

My absolute favorite thing about this stuff is the stopper. It is super small and you really have to tug at the brush to get it out of the tube (putting it back in takes effort too). This is NOT a bad thing! The stopper gets all the globs and clumps off the brush so they don't get on my lashes. As for the mascara and brush, it's not bad. Delivers moderate volume, and nice definition and separation, which is partly because it's a rubber brush. Overall this is a great deal, especially if you catch it on a BOGO sale. — 2 years, 8 months ago

This is a great mascara. The only thing is that I think it is actually more lengthening than volumizing. As the name says, it defines lashes very well. It hardly flakes at all. I had people ask if I was wearing false lashes when I used this! It really doesn't clump, so it is easy to layer. The brush is really great and easy to use as well. — 11 months, 4 weeks ago

Great mascara for everyday use

This mascara is great for defining lashes, ie, separating them. I tend to get my lashes stuck together and all nasty looking unless I use a mascara brush like this one designed to help fix that problem. I have really nice long lashes, and this product adds just enough volume without feeling like your eyelashes are glued together. It is a nice shade of black, and is overall a nice basic mascara. This is not something that is going to give you over the top fake lashes type volume, but that's not really what it is for. I wore this for a year, and am seriously tempted to go get another one as soon as I can since the others I have tried are more of a going out type of mascara and they stay on my lashes for like three days no matter how many times I wash my face and use makeup remover, and it drives me insane. One of the better mascaras...

I am a huge fan of waterproof mascara, as I have stick straight eyelashes. After curling them, I use waterproof mascara to "hold" the curl, so as far as a mascara goes, I judge it on clumpiness, flakiness, etc. This one is pretty good as far as lack of clumps and flaking, however I seperate my lashes with a pin after applying (I know that's bad!). This formula gives me nice length and definition, but no extreme volume. Not my very favorite, but a good go-to mascara. It combs through lashes rather well so it doesn't clump as much. I don't like using false lashes and I never do so I always use two types of mascara anyway. This mascara alone is pretty good but you have to add several coats to get real definition. — 1 year, 12 months ago
