First Primer I've used
Honestly I'm not super impressed by this primer. I found that my skin looks nice to me personally, which I originally really liked... but when my picture was taken (with no flash mind you), my face was WHITE and I mean WHITE, as in it looked like there was a very very bright flash on the camera and all the light just reflected back at the camera. I've never seen that! It was very odd and I can only attribute it to the primer, because the moment I removed my make up and the primer and went back to have my picture take everything was fine again. Love!
This is the only primer that works for me. I love the texture - a little goes a long way. It is easy to apply and really does improve the staying power of my make-up. Makes for a Nice Canvas
Smashbox's Photo Finish primer was my go to product until I discovered this gem. It really evens out my skin and allows my make up to glide on and blend very nicely, without any greasy feel. Best Primer!
Ok, I know I say everything from BareMinerals is the BEST but that is because it really is. I never used primer before getting it in the Get Started Kit a year ago! I had never tried a primer that worked for me. This is great because it smooths my complexion out and leaves my skin feeling so light. It makes my skin soft and doesn't have a funny smell or texture. It really helps my make up to stay put all day! Like most of their products, a little bit goes a long way so you really are getting a lot for your money and it's great for my skin. Never irritates. ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!
I honestly cannot do my makeup without this primer! It not only reduces the amount of foundation I need to use, but also makes my skin feel like a smooth pallet. It holds my makeup all day and never feels oily. However, I'm not a fan of the Oil Control BE primer. I don't have SUPER oily skin, so maybe that's why I wasn't a fan, but I just didn't like the sticky texture it has. For me, the regular and the Oil Control primers are completely different. Didn't help me
I bought this in the oil-free version and used it for about a week. I would apply this to my t-zone and cheeks where I have larger pores, and I didn't really see a difference in how my makeup applied or lasted. I had to make sure to let it set first though because if I didn't wait long enough it would ball up when I started to put on foundation. I love this product! It leaves my skin feeling so smooth and keeps my makeup in place really well. I use this everyday! It lasts forever and really makes a difference to how your makeup looks and feels. Admittedly I've only tried one or two other primers, but I'm not tempted to switch. all primed up
i first bought this as a replacement for skin rever upper and originally didnt get it. It ddnt seem to do anything for my skin. I then bought more rever upper and used them in conjunction. I never noticed anything special until recently when i tried some new products and had very bad acne breakouts for which even prescription meds arent helping it. i was in a big battle over the meds drying out my skin, then trying to overmoustrueize and ending up with super oily spots. I decided to come back to my tried and true. I began coupling the rever upper with prime time and found a magic formula! the rever upper's salycidic acid helps control pimples and the prime time helps smooth flakiness and allows my makeup to stay on longer!! i used to use about three blotting sheets per day at work, but since starting this duo, i barely need one!!
