Forever Loyal to Seche Vite
I was recommended this product from a nail technician when I was shopping at Sallys and this is AMAZING. I have never used a top coat as wonderful as this, and it does exactly what it says. It's fast-drying and it keeps colors vivid. I can go for a week without any chipping or fading. AMAZING!
This stuff dries my nails super fast. Yes, it's about $10 a bottle, but it'll save you tons of frustration when you're doing at home manis. It also leaves my nails beautifully glossy and helps extend the length of my manicure. Not worth the Money
I bought this product as it got such great reviews, but my results were awful. I'm a very experienced nail polish user, and this stuff just didn't work. Not only was it not fast drying, but it actually never dried. I tried it with several different nail polish brands (including China Glaze and OPI). It was awful with China Glaze and worked only slightly better on OPI. Best Top Coat I've Tried
I was previously using OPI's Rapid Dry Top Coat and was disappointed with the application and effect it gave. I turned to Seche Vite because I had heard good things and noticed the manicurists using it themselves at their salons. I have loved using this to finish off my at-home manicures. It adds a wonderful shine and really makes all my nail polish colors pop. I didn't expect it to dry as fast as it did. That was really impressive. Your manicure still won't be SET for a while longer, but this protects against superficial bumps and what not. The brush is fairly large so it makes application a snap. I never have any air bubbles or gloopiness like I was getting with the OPI top coat. If you really want your manicure to last, reapply this top coat every few days. This will ensure that your nails stay shiny and protected. Salon quality top coat
I had never heard of the company until my friend told me about it. This top coat is amazing. It makes a mediocre nail polish shiny, strong and vivid in color. It dries very fast! Unfortunately, it has an awful smell. Great Find
One of my fellow bridesmaids at my sister's wedding introduced me to this top coat. We all used it on our nails several days before the wedding and on the big day everyone's nails were perfect. I know its a bit expensive but definitely worth the price even though I'd never heard of the company before. Good but not impressive
I got this speed dry topcoat after reading all the amazing reviews everywhere. It does help to dry nails much faster, and it is pretty good overall, but I liked Sally Hansen's Speed Shine 10 day topcoat better- it dries nails faster, and makes manicure last longer. Seche Vite is not bad, and has an advantage over SH- leaves the nail polish's finish as it was meant to be, and not glossy by default. But doesn't dry nails THAT fast. Eh!
This top coat is one of the most unimpressive I have ever used in all my years of wearing polish and using quality top coats. This came highly recommended, people rave about it, but it under-performed, is overpriced, and got scratched up so quickly that I was disgusted I had bothered to purchase it at all. I'm a huge fan of Nivea top coat (no longer made, very hard to find.) and I can tell you that Nivea's top coat makes this stuff look like you bought it at a dollar store. Not worth it!!
