If you want dry frizzy hair chose this product
by agirlsgottaspa (18 reviews)Total Beauty BloggerTrusted ReviewThis was an awful product. I got it in dark brown, the color I normally use with Clairol's Hydrience. My hair came out jet black. Talk about looking like Elvira without the hot body. It was also very messy--I've been dying my hair since I was a teenager and yet it was like being a beginner all over again--the solution just ...dripped from the comb attachment and made dye fly every and drip everywhere. I ended up just using it without the comb for faster, less messy application. Once my 10 minutes was up, rinsed, applied the conditioner, etc., my hair was so dry it brittle it basically looked like I fried my hair. It took lots of Alterna Caviar serum and my coveted Conair Infiniti Nano Flat Iron to get my hair to look decent. My hair was a total wreck for about 4 weeks. I do not recommend this product at all. okay
by JamieElise (25 reviews)I have long and thick hair, and I found the comb to be impossible. Once I got a little dye on my hair, it tangled up, and I had to switch to the root application. Not to mention, there's a very fine line between saturating my floor and saturating my thick hair. The smell during dyeing was no better than any other product I...'ve ever used. The difference came after dyeing. My hair was super-shiny and smelled great. Oh, and my color came out nothing like what the box said it would. I was aiming for a medium golden blonde (beeline honey). What I got was a coppery blonde. I have dark blonde hair, so I didn't think it would a problem. Still pretty, just not quite right. Perfect 10 is right!
by beautyguru_24_7 (235 reviews)Top 100 ReviewerTrusted ReviewI'm disappointed to see the bad reviews for this product. The first reviewer said she used the dark brown and it came out black - well, that's how the dark brown looks in any color line right after you color. After your first wash though, the color goes right to it's rich luscious dark chocolate shade and it stays there f...or good. The fading is absolutely minimal and I don't think there is a better drugstore home color for brown hair. This color does have a glossy healthy look after you use the conditioner, and the scent is actually nice! No joke! Plus, it works in 10 minutes - or 15 minutes if you have gray hair like myself. That is just unheard of and makes this home color the best choice, and definitely worth every cent. April 3, 2009, 3:28 pm3 of 3 people found this review helpful.

Yea for this product!
by purelife (159 reviews)Top 100 ReviewerTrusted ReviewI had an appointment at an Aveda salon and it would have cost me $100 to get my hair done. I cancelled it once I saw the reviews for this product and tried it out. Man-o-man does it work! I love the color (9.5A) and it lasts pretty long. I have no complaints! Time and money saving
by ghostsong (6 reviews)I started using this as soon as it came out in an ash blonde color, and unlike most drug store dyes, it wasn't brassy. Also, my blonde hair has trouble taking blonde dyes and not turning yellow, but this one works perfectly. Yesterday I got my hair colored at the salon, and 250$ later, I HAVE THE SAME HAIR COLOR IT COST 15$... FOR ME TO GET FROM PERFECT10. April 14, 2008, 1:00 pm3 of 3 people found this review helpful.

Don't use if you have long hair
by roccopico (4 reviews)The comb piece was completely useless with my long hair. It made an insane mess and there seemed to be less color than in other products so I needed two for my hair. Color didn't cover my grays very well either. All in all I will stick with Loreal preference. August 13, 2009, 11:10 am2 of 2 people found this review helpful.

Don't waste your time or money.
by weeksster (2 reviews)I used light auburn on medium brown hair with only a few grays. As per the instructions, I left it on 10 minutes plus an additional 5 minutes to cover the grays. My grays were NOT covered and my hair barely has a red tint. My hair is now incredibly glossy but for that, I wish I'd spent my money on a high quality conditi...oner. Great Color but stains your skin!
by RDubois127 (1 review)This product was great but if you got a little on your neck or shoulder or forehead it is nearly impossible to get off that day! I scrubbed till my skin was red and still didnt fade. I have read that you can try vaseline on the hairline to prevent the skin dying but it didnt work with this product. It doesnt fade out your h...airfast but it doesnt come off your skin easy either. August 11, 2009, 1:19 pm1 of 1 people found this review helpful.

didn't last
by wordsone (5 reviews)i loved it at first and then noticed that it wasn't covering the gray. i had my hair done for a wedding a week after i used it and was embarrased by my gray roots. i'd rather wait 40 mintues and have to color less frequently.
