Murad Acne Spot Treatment Reviews

Must use other Murad products
I got this for free from Ulta via their rewards, and I'm still unsure. It seems to work best for me if I smear it on my face after cleansing; it seemed to reduce pimple size. However, you have to keep up with it day AND night for it be effective. I used it only during the day and it seemed to work fine within the first few hours, but then by evening time it seemed to get worse. It smells horrible because of the sulfur, but it didn't dry my skin. You probably have to use other Murad products in order to achieve best results. I'm glad I got it for free. — 2 years, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Murad Acne Spot Treatment
I've been using this on and off for almost two years. Initially it really helped clear up my skin and it made it look 100% better than it looked when I first started. Here I am now and with the occasional breakout, this, along the with mask, helps nip breakouts in the bud. It's one of the better products I've used, and I've used everything. — 2 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Didn't work at all.
I tried it for two weeks, didn't do a thing, in fact it made my skin more irritated. I had better results with Proactive's sulfur mask. If you're looking for a good spot treatment try Clean & Clear persa-gel w/ benzoyl peroxide. — 4 years, 11 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Above Average
I tried this through the Ulta Rewards Program. I thought it would be handy to have in case any little emergencies came up. I rarely break out but what few times it's happened I used this product and have had good results. It stopped any breakout in its tracks. In fact, they disappeared. I find it's good to use around the nose area to keep pores clear. For sensitive or dry skin it may be too harsh to use nightly on the nose. For normal/oily there should be no problems. — 2 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

works best with Murad anti-acne line
I first used this product after I received it as a free gift with the purchase of other products. It worked okay when I used it with the skincare products I was using at that time. Not great, but okay. Then, after I tried the Murad acne treatment kit, I found that this product works really well when it is combined with other Murad anti-acne products. I would definitly recommend the entire line. — 5 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 5 people said helpful

Terrible
This was recommended to me at Sephora. For the tiny little tube you get for that price, I expected this to actually work. Did absolutely nothing for spot treating pimples, and possibly even made it worse. Severely dried out the area around it without having any healing affect on the pimple itself. It smells terrible too (probably the sulfur) and you can't wear it during the day under makeup, because it's thick and chalky when it dries. Wouldn't use it ever again, it was a waste of money. I could've stuck to Clean & Clear or any other cheap drugstore brand and gotten better results. — 5 years, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 4 people said helpful

works best when used with the acne kit
This spot treatment really helps with the severity of pimples and help prevent them if I catch them quickly enough. It doesn't dry my skin-that's the most amazing thing about it! But I think it works so well for me because I use it with the other murad acne products, and they all work together to keep my acne under control. — 4 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Revenge of the zit.
This "spot" treatment is downright pitiful. Yes, it helped breakouts by bringing the bacteria closer to the surface of my skin, but then it just comes back. It never truly goes away. So if this was a "spot" treatment, you would think that results would be after one or two treatments. This is not the case with this product. If you're looking to treat breakouts, I would suggest using an acne clearing device such as Tanda Zap instead. — 9 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Its ok...
Its an OK product... it works, but very slowly. It usually takes an average of 7-10 days to completely clear up a zit. — 10 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
