Wonderful
Makes me wonder how I used those cheapo Bic disposable razors for so many years. Leaves your legs silky smooth! I love them. — 5 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Good razor
This is definitely better than a disposable razors. As far as replacement head razors, I'd say it is pretty good if in the upper price range of similar razors. The blades are pretty sharp and last a fairly long time. The only thing that doesn't last at all is the moisture strip...it'll be useless after one or two shaves. The heads are easy to replace and moves quite easily so that you don't have to put any pressure to shave. Just skin the razor over your skin and you'll get a nice close shave. The handle has a nice grip and is fairly long so you can hold it in a variety of positions. — 4 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Venus
This doesn't give me as close of a shave as the Venus embrace, but I do like the smaller head because it's a bit easier to maneuver and get into small spots. On the plus side they are a bit cheaper, but I'm willing to pay extra & deal with a larger cartridge to shave less often. — 2 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Good standby razor
I've been using this razor for several years and am very happy with it. It gives a smooth, close shave without nicks or cuts. I have pretty coarse leg hair, and this razor keeps my legs looking presentable for a few days before I need to shave again. The cartridges are a little on the pricey side, but I find that I don't have to replace them very often. I also like that the razor is compatible with any of the other Venus cartridge varieties so you can buy whichever is on sale at the time. — 4 years, 11 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Well I've used Embrace
I'm a little biased. I started with Embrace, which I freaking loved, so I felt like I downgraded. But I've never used anything else, so it's probably good compared to others. it's not as smooth while shaving, and much easier to cut myself, but the shave is still a nice shave, I've just had better. — 1 month, 2 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

An Excellent Razor
I started buying this type of razor when I first started shaving and I've loved them from the very start. They leave the skin very smooth and they really get the hair very well you usually will only need two swipes of this razor to get all the hair. Also these razors don't leave a lot of nicks on your legs I found that versus other drug store razors I've tried I would get maybe one or two nicks every once in awhile and it was usually when I had been using the razor for too long and it was just the razors way of telling me to throw it out haha Anywho yea I would definitely recommend this razor to anyone its good for shaving legs, arm pits, bikini line whatever you need. Also its good as far as the price is concerned it is very cost effective for how well it works and it stays very sharp for a long time you will get a lot of use for one razor. — 4 months, 3 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Not bad...
I've been using these razors for two or three years now, off and on whenever I get a good coupon or there's a nice sale. They do give an excellent, close shave but they're expensive, the moisture strip is gone after two uses, and I can only use it on my legs or else I get horrible razor burn. I get a cheap disposable razor for the more sensitive areas such as underarms and my bikini line, the Venus razor just cuts me up in those areas. However, the blades do last reasonably long for me. I haven't bought another pack of blades in at least a year. — 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Hair removal
I use this razor to shave my legs, underarms, and bikini area because I get less knicks than when I use other razors. I can shave quickly in hue shower and the shape really fits with the contours of my body! — 1 year, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Ooh so smooth!
I absolutely love this razor. It has everything I need: a pivoting head, 3 blades, a conditioning strip, and a grip on the handle. Plus, the Gillette Venus is in my favorite shade of blue. It provides a super close shave and leaves my legs feeling smooth with no irritation. I rarely get any nicks or razor burn with this razor. I like that the head isn't so massive, so it's easy to get into those hard to reach areas such as knees, ankles, and underarms. The refills can get pricey, but it's worth it. — 1 year, 8 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Not worth it.
I tried this once and it left razor bumps/rash all over my legs. Also, the blades have to be replaced REALLY often and it's too darn expensive to maintain, even if it didn't irritate every inch of skin it touches. I will not use Venus again. — 1 year, 9 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
