Its fairly sheer
If you want decent coverage I wouldn't suggest this. They say you can layer it but if you do it looks like you are wearing tons of makeup. Love this product!
I was really leery of the whole mineral make-up concept...So, I bought this and gave it a try. I am a true believer in it! I have slightly oily skin and always looked like a grease pit but the end of the day. This powder seems to absorb all the extra oil! I love it. I prefer Bare Minerals
I used Mary Kay's mineral foundation for the first time this morning and I'm disappointed. I think it's probably wonderful for people who have never used mineral foundation before. But I've used Bare Minerals for several years now and Mary Kay does not even compare. Mary Kay's texture is much drier. It does not provide anywhere near the amount of coverage I get with Bare Minerals. Also, I ordered the lightest shade and it still looks darker than I would prefer. Again, if I had never used minerals before I probably wouldn't even know the difference.
