Mary Kay Mineral Powder Foundation Reviews

Best Mineral Make Up
I have tried Bare Minerals and did not like it. I could not get it to stay in place, The Mary Kay Mineral Powder Foundation is more matte and it doesn't dry out my skin. Definitely worth trying! — 1 year, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 2 people said helpful

great product
I've been using the mineral powder for the past few months and I actually prefer it to BareMinerals. There are about twelve different shades to pick from so it's fairly easy to find a color that will work for you. The powder is lightweight, offers good coverage, and doesn't feel heavy or chalky at all. My skin is oily so I didn't notice any problems with drying like I read a few other posters had. The pricing isn't bad either. IIt costs about $18 which is less than what I've paid for BareMinerals and other similar mineral powder foundations. Overall, this is a really good foundation. — 1 year, 8 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

Good coverage
I've been skeptical when it comes to mineral makeup, simply because other brands give off alot of sheen. This one doesn't. It works great, you can layer as much as you need, and it feels great on my skin. — 5 years, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 4 people said helpful

It works!
The first thing I noticed about this foundation is the texture. The powder is finely milled, giving it a nice, silky smooth application that doesn't kick up dust. Coverage is definitely light to almost medium, which does not -quite- cover up my blemishes, but does smooth my face and even my skin tone without caking! My only gripe is how quickly it disappears on my oily skin in the South's humid weather (but hey, what's a girl to do?). However, flaky skin should still beware! This foundation has a tendency to cling! — 1 year, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Alright, above average
I didn't get a lot of coverage from this, but I guess that is to be expected of mineral powder foundation. I have light freckles which were almost entirely covered up by this. I liked the lightweight feeling, but this probably isn't the best value. — 2 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Great light coverage!
This foundation is great for when I'm in a rush but don't want to be completely bare when I walk out the door. Combined with a little concealer, it looks very natural and pretty on my skin. I really enjoy wearing this! It also works great over a liquid foundation for a flawless face. — 1 month, 1 week agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Not for Dry Skin
I usually use BareMinerals or BElla Terra but I thought I would give this a try. I have very dry skin and they foundation make my face feel dry all day and even a little flaky. Which was a huge disappointment. Maybe if you have normal to oily skin this might work for you to tone down your skin. Not for me though. — 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Great coverage!
This mineral powder foundation has great coverage for a powder, and long lasting. Goes on smooth and evenly. I love how lightweight it is compared to liquid foundations! — 2 months, 1 week agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful
