My first and favorite Microdermabrasion product. It's a must-try
I hadn't used Microdermabrasion products before I bought the Mary Kay set (i.e. Step 1 and Step 2)), but I've experimented with a few since then. To date, I have not found an over-the-counter product that I like better or has more value. As for how my skin feels -- holy moly, after this it is smoother than ever. I have never run into any problems with irritation (I have combination skin with a b...read morereakout here and there). Compared to other brands, the consistency and texture of the Mary Kay Refiner is the best. It doesn't separate, it's not too thick or too thin, and its level of coarseness doesn't leave you feeling like you're scraping your skin off! Best of all, the pair of products are also sold separately, since the Refiner tends to get used up more quickly than Step 2. Great Find
I'd been using another microdermabrasion kit for a while, and while I loved the way it worked, it was really costly -- over $100 a bottle. I was pleasantly surprised to find that Mary Kay's microdermabrasion kit (both Steps 1 & 2) works just as well as the more expensive stuff, and at a *third* of the cost. So far, so good...
I have been using the Mary Kay microderm set for about a week, and so far - I love it! It makes my skin feel so soft and fresh. It isn't as harsh and abrasive as alot of the exfoliating scrubs are. I also have high hopes that this will eliminate the black heads on my nose. I can really tell after three uses that my pores appear alot smaller and are definitely less noticable. for flawless skin
I have the whole set of this product and use it 2x a week. i had open pores on my cheeks and oily T-zone before and this product gave me immediate effect after a day of using it. the microbeads are so fine that you can't see them by your naked eye and when you apply it on your face you could really feel that it's working. the step 2 also helps in keeping the pores closed so that no impurities will enter the skin. love this product
I just started using this product 8 days ago. I only use it every 3 days and I already see abig difference in my skin. My face is now soft and smooth and brighter. I love this product a lot.
