Best and Worst At-Home Peels
These facial peels either left readers' skin glowing and healthy, or painfully irritated
Ever heard of an at-home peel? It's a great way to save money on spa treatments and cosmetic procedures. Yeah, we know, you've probably heard all of the negative stories about harsh chemicals and red faces. So we understand why people are generally wary of facial peels. But while these fears are occasionally warranted (most likely from those who tend to use a product without reading reviews of it!), we assure you most peels are completely safe and beneficial.
Peels are intended to remove the outermost layer of dead skin cells, restoring your complexion and leaving behind smooth, radiant skin. When used correctly, they can minimize pores and even diminish the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. If you've never tried one, here's your chance!
Our readers have tested and tried all of the following at-home peels. They wrote rave reviews of the peels that had amazing results and transformed their skin, while they also let us know about the peels that gave them chemical burns and skin irritation so you don't have to experience it! You no longer have to be afraid to pamper your skin. Isn't that a right all women are entitled to? We believe so.
