Essie Nail Polish Reviews

Love!
The greatness of these polishes comes through their amazingly wide color selection and that smooth formula. This brand knows what ladies want! Every shade steps in time with fashion of now and they still find other intuitive ways to make polishes fun every season! I also love applying this and watching the polish smooth over my nail so that every one comes out evenly coated no matter how many coats I do. These dry fast, but I did find chipping a bit of a problem here and there, especially without a topcoat. Still, this brand is worth my money! — 1 year, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 3 people said helpful

Essie
When i saw these on sale, I decided to pick up a few shades to see how nicely they work. I own four shades, two are darker, one is a mid-tone, & one that is a sheer pink. The polishes are quite nice & the color on your nail is very true to the bottle. For the lighter colors, I can get away with just one coat; the darker colors can look nice with just a coat also if you apply it carefully. If you do decide to apply two coats, be mindful of how much product goes on your nails. I could easily tell which of my nails had too much product once they dried because they had lots of tiny air bubbles. The polish have a very nice shine even without a top coat but I recommend using a good base and top coat with this product otherwise it can chip easily. Without a base or top coat I get about 3-4 days of wear compared to a little over a week with. The darker colors doesn't cause any staining on my nails either. I would buy more if they are on sale. — 1 year, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

One of the best.
OPI and Essie will always be a tie on my list of polishes. This bottle looks small, but if you look it's .46 FL OZ. close to the amount you get in China Glaze, and OPI (by .4). It remained on my nails for a few weeks, which is good since I do alot of work with my hands. look's great!!
I am obsessed with nail polish. Essie is definitely one of my favorite brands. The colors are amazing and they always look great on. They have the prettiest pale pink and nude tones. I don't normally spend that much, but when I do I buy essie. — 1 year, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 4 people said helpful

new favorite color
I'm loving "steel-ing the scene" right now. Silver is so hot right now and I've got it on both my fingers & toes. — 5 years, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful

Great polish
I really like wearing Essie nail polish. The colors they have are gorgeous and they dont chip as fast as drugstore ones. I like that they have sooo many colors but they are a little pricer than I'd like them to be, but i guess its a good one to buy every once in a while. — 1 year, 8 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

One of the worst for staining!!
I really, really dislike this polish. It has stained my nails yellow worse than ANY polish from ANY brand I have ever used. The consistency is terrible! The coats are really thin which helps it last a long time BUT it doesn't come out the true color since the consistency is so thing. The only reason it gets as many stars as I gave it, is because it is long lasting. Of course the long lasting is due to it being thin. A curse and a blessing. — 2 years, 11 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

One of my fave brands!
I've had great luck with Essie polishes for years. I think they hands down have the best collection of sheer and natural shades on the market. I can't recall ever having problems with seeing brush stroke lines or having it chip faster than what's normally expected with a manicure. There are only a few brands that I frequent, and Essie is up there pretty high! — 4 years, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

My new favorite!
I've never been loyal to any nail polish brand, I got my first essie bottle in turquoise and caicos and I love it! I found a ton of shades in a very popular drugstore in the small city I live. It's been my third day wearing the polish and its still impecable. The polish isn't cheap in any way, easy to use, it's very fluid on the nail and its buildable from sheer to full coverage. — 1 year, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful
