    LOVE THIS

    by MariFa (3 reviews)
as a high school student I usually found it difficult to part with my allowance, but Essie was a coveted product for which I would scrimp and save. My favorite color from that day till this: Chai Tea! The best part of Essie is the super shiny finish that you achieve without a top coat. The long wear is a bonus. The only... down side is that the polish dries out very quickly and becomes goopy and unusable after a couple of applications. Ahh well nothing in life is perfect and at $7 a bottle versus $12 + tip for a professional manicure, its worth it. December 5, 2007, 11:50 am

    Review of Essie Nail Polish

    by fashionsense (11 reviews)
I used Essie Nail polish in my salon for several years. Most customers found that they liked the variety of colors and shades as well as the long lasting wear of the polish. I continue to use Essie Nail polish for the same reasons. It is a professional nail polish with a moderate price. October 12, 2007, 8:20 pm

    My favorite everyday color

    by Jordyn (3 reviews)
Someone told me years ago that Essie's Mademoiselle was supposedly the most universally flattering nail color. Having perpetually purple-tinged hands, it's difficult for me to find flattering shades, so off I went to the beauty supply store. It's like clear, but more substantial. It's not exactly a statement-maker, but i...t's perfect for feeling more put-together every day. I've been using Mademoiselle almost exclusively for 3+ years. As for chipping, it's such a natural color that you don't really notice until it gets truly unacceptable. October 29, 2007, 4:56 pm

    Good Value

    by blarue (8 reviews)
Being the type of person who cares for others and sometimes forgets about me, I decided to buy a sppecial new color of Essie and take some time for an at-home manicure. Wow! The color I chose, Coral Reef, was a fantastic bright reddish-coral that is great for jump-starting Spring, as well as your mood! The costt of Essie is... fair in my opinion, and the polish lasted for at least 5 days! I did use a base and top coat. The color was shiny, vibrant and very attractive on my short, "squared" nails. A good value! May 1, 2008, 9:37 am

Nice Price for a Professional Product

    by mashalaz (3 reviews)
Great price--I find that sometimes it does chip easily (when on my hands) even with a top coat, but on my toes the color can last for more than a week without wearing away or chipping. The choice of colors is fantastic, almost overwhelming, and some are so close as to be identical. (I got Watermelon, described as a "...refreshing pink" under the Coral Peach catagory and Strawberry Sorbet in the Pink catagory described as "a delicious dessert right at your finger tips"--not too helpful a description--and even though I wore them side by side, no one, including myself could tell that I was wearing 2 different colors). My Favourite Polish

After discovering Essie nail polish I do not need to try any other brand. I have found "The One". Used with the basecoat and sun protective top coat, the appication lasts longer than any other I have tried. The colours are classic and suitable for any season/fashion. When I have professional manicures I take my ow...n Essie polish. The other brands just do not compare. April 18, 2008, 11:31 am

No other nail polish company has made more classic colors over the years! Although I choose OPI colors more often now, there are still Essie classics that I continue to wear. My long time favorties are Marshmallow and Ballet Slippers and have been for years. My new favorites have been Waltz and of course, Wicked. Nothing li...ke Essie to add a little bit of color into your life. I love it! February 12, 2008, 4:01 pm

OPI isn't the only game in town/The perfect silver

    by pulchra (3 reviews)
First time user, got a pack as a gift. Steel-ing the Scene is the prettiest silver I've ever seen. An ex-Manhattanite in LA, I don't yet do brights, neons, or pastels. This silver is a soft silver with almost a little bit of taupe in it which makes it a gorgeous silver that is edgy enough for me but soft enough for a conser...vative job. Seriously, your grandmother could wear this silver and its just darn pretty. Goes on smoothly and easily, no clumping. Wears forever, too. I'm a convert. December 27, 2007, 4:57 pm

    Love this

FINALLY a nail polish that lasts! I always have the same problem- i buy a color that i like and it looks really great on, but by the next day it's already chipping off. I just discovered Essie through my sister and this stuff is amazing. I have #249 "wicked" and it is a beautiful color (its a wine red and looks gr...eat against my pale skin) and i've had it on for days and it only chipped verrry slightly because i was scrubbing and cleaning without gloves! this stuff is awesome =) November 29, 2007, 9:05 pm

    Great Nail Polish

    by Laursy98 (2 reviews)
Every time I go to get a manicure now I will only use Essie Nail Polish. It seems to last longer without chipping, and the colors are great. My favorite shade is "in the mood" which is a brown with a tint of gold sparkles. The colors always shine and brighten up your hands as well. I highly recommend buying th...e nail polish even if you are not getting a manicure because it is shiny enough to look like you did get your nails professionally painted. November 29, 2007, 6:20 pm
