I was surprised at how good this deodorant worked. You wet it, put it on, and them no worries. No white stuff. No goofy scent. And it lasts a long time! My only issue is that after it has been wet every day for four months or so, the crystal deteriorates until it falls off. Bummer. — 4 years ago

Great for my husband, but somehow I'm allergic to it!

I loved this until I started having some sort of allergic reaction to it - after about 6 months of use I started getting a rash and extreme itching from it...i bought a new one thinking maybe something contaminated it because I was in disbelief it could be causing the problem...rash didn't go away...then i stopped using it for a few months and went back to it to see if i still had the problem...within 2 hours I was in misery. It worked really well while I used it, though, and my husband still uses it and loves it. My only complaints were that I could get really wet since this is not an antiperspirant, but you get used to it, and it's not as convenient in this form as the roll-on is. But, it really does work well (if you don't get a rash :( from it) — 2 years, 9 months ago

Long lasting

I have used this for years and one stick lasts about a year and is easy to use by dampening with a little water. There is no conflicting scent so my perfume is perfect. I am dry and odor free all day. — 1 year, 5 months ago

No odor

I always had a problem with sweating and odor when it came to antiperspirant/deodorants. I always had some wetness and a lot odor. With this product, I still have some wetness, but NO odor whatsoever. I bought the travel size, and don't have a problem with sharp edges. The product lasts a long time. My travel size is 6 months old, and it is not even 1/2 finished. I don't remember how much I paid for it, but I do know it was for less than 3 dollars. When applying I do swipe it back and forth at least 10 times under each arm, which is no big deal. The crystal did detach from the plastic base after a few months of use,but that has not impacted the effectiveness, and I have no problem handling the product directly. — 1 year, 5 months ago

A great product but not for me

I used and loved the deodorant stick. However, after about 2 months I developed red itchy bumps in my armpits. I also noticed that my mouth and throat were becoming very parched and that my urine had become very odorous. All these symptoms went away after I stopped using it. — 2 years, 4 months ago

I was doubtful that this would do the trick for odor control in the summer, but I was pleasantly surprised. I am so glad to have found a natural product that actually controlls odor, but still lets me sweat. I have found that the best way to keep it from developing sharp edges as it is used is to wipe it with a napkin after each use so the water does not wear it into sharp edges. It seems to be working so far and I am very happy with this deoderant. — 2 years, 10 months ago

Only deodorant I trust.

WARNING: This is NOT an anti-perspirant. This is only a deodorant. If you use this product, you will sweat. The good news is, you will not smell bad. I found this at Meijer one evening while trying to find an all-natural deodorant. I thought it was worth a try after reading a few reviews online. That was about two years ago. This is the best deodorant I've ever used! I am not going back to "regular" chemically-enhanced deodorants. Those wore off and made me feel self-conscious. Crystal body deodorant rarely wears off, and even when it does it's usually because I didn't apply it well that morning. That happens maybe once every couple of months. I get no white marks on any of my clothes, no odor whatsoever. It's the best deodorant! It works so well, my boyfriend uses it, too. Another warning about this: DO NOT leave it on marble or granite surfaces. This will cause problems with the stone, making it chip easily and giving it sharp edges. I've had this happen a couple of times and couldn't figure out why it was happening until I read the new label with the warning. I tend to wipe mine dry after each use, which also helps to keep it smooth. It lasts a very long time, up to a year in fact, and it is very much worth every penny. This is the only deodorant that makes me feel confident enough to put my arms up in the summer when I go sleeveless. — 3 years, 1 month ago

After a period of time the product wears down and creates sharp edges that are dangerous. I once actually made myself bleed! Because you have to run it under water before application I have found that wiping it dry with a towel afterward prolongs its shelf life and minimizes risk of scraping the skin on a sharp edge. I switched to the roll on version because it is less fuss, but I still use the rock version in a travel size, which is easy to bypass airport security. — 3 years, 4 months ago
