  amazing but.....

  In terms of doing it's job as a deodorant this product gets a 20 out of 10 from me. It never shows up on any dark clothing and in the heat of summer never gives up on me....however (and this is a big however for me) once the product is well into it's use it starts to form really sharp edges that REALLY hurt when you go to a...pply it! If there was/is some secret way to decrease the risk of pain/injury then I'd be loyal to it forever, until then I'll just use it for 'special occasions' February 15, 2008, 8:42 pm

  I recently broke out in hives and I am trying to figure out why I have this. So someone suggested this crystal deodorant. To my great surprise, this stuff really works. It is nice to know, that I am not putting chemicals underneath my armpit. When I am done using it, I don't close the lid right away, I just let it sit until... I come home.   I have to agree with the other reviewer- after using it for a while it does get sharp edges and you have to toss it before it's reached its life expectancy. I also noticed that the pores in my pits were getting really clogged after about 3 months of using this and I started breaking out. I can't say that I was thrilled wit...h it's performance.   Great product!

  I have been using this product for over a week now and I'm very impressed as I have had NO problems with odor at all! Even on 85+ degree days. But be aware that this is not an antiperspirant, only a deodorant. Quite frankly I have never found any product, with or without Aluminum, that prevents me from sweating. In terms of... odor control this is great. It also leaves no residue on clothes at all. I put it on immediately after I get out of the shower so I don't have to wet it. I have read that it can get sharp edges. My friend advised me that if it gets bad, just dissolve it in a little bit of water and put it onto a spray bottle to use it as a spray deodorant. She says it works just as well that way. If you are looking for a natural, aluminum free product that controls odor, try this! September 1, 2008, 9:14 am

  I was surprised at how good this deodorant worked. You wet it, put it on, and them no worries. No white stuff. No goofy scent. And it lasts a long time! My only issue is that after it has been wet every day for four months or so, the crystal deteriorates until it falls off. Bummer. May 23, 2008, 1:39 pm

  keeps you dry and odor free

  I used this product for about 3 months, I really liked it. no smell and natural. You have to use it on fresh showered wet arm pits. You will not get BODY ODOR! After about 3 months I started getting a rash under my arm pits. I don't know why? BUT i HAD TO QUIT USING IT. May 22, 2008, 7:48 pm

  I loved this until I started having some sort of allergic reaction to it - after about 6 months of use I started getting a rash and extreme itching from it...i bought a new one thinking maybe something contaminated it because I was in disbelief it could be causing the problem...rash didn't go away...then i stopped using it ...for a few months and went back to it to see if i still had the problem...within 2 hours I was in misery. It worked really well while I used it, though, and my husband still uses it and loves it. My only complaints were that I could get really wet since this is not an antiperspirant, but you get used to it, and it's not as convenient in this form as the roll-on is. But, it really does work well (if you don't get a rash :( from it) August 20, 2009, 7:46 am

  I was doubtful that this would do the trick for odor control in the summer, but I was pleasantly surprised. I am so glad to have found a natural product that actually controlls odor, but still lets me sweat. I have found that the best way to keep it from developing sharp edges as it is used is to wipe it with a napkin aft...er each use so the water does not wear it into sharp edges. It seems to be working so far and I am very happy with this deoderant. July 11, 2009, 2:45 pm

  Only deodorant I trust.

  WARNING: This is NOT an anti-perspirant. This is only a deodorant. If you use this product, you will sweat. The good news is, you will not smell bad. I found this at Meijer one evening while trying to find an all-natural deodorant. I thought it was worth a try after reading a few reviews online. That was about two yea...rs ago. This is the best deodorant I've ever used! I am not going back to "regular" chemically-enhanced deodorants. Those wore off and made me feel self-conscious. Crystal body deodorant rarely wears off, and even when it does it's usually because I didn't apply it well that morning. That happens maybe once every couple of months. I get no white marks on any of my clothes, no odor whatsoever. It's the best deodorant! It works so well, my boyfriend uses it, too. Another warning about this: DO NOT leave it on marble or granite surfaces. This will cause problems with the stone, making it chip easily and giving it sharp edges. I've had this happen a couple of times and couldn't figure out why it was happening until I read the new label with the warning. I tend to wipe mine dry after each use, which also helps to keep it smooth. It lasts a very long time, up to a year in fact, and it is very much worth every penny. This is the only deodorant that makes me feel confident enough to put my arms up in the summer when I go sleeveless. April 5, 2009, 8:23 pm
