Hard Candy Glitter Eye Pencils

If I want to get a late-night snack with friends but don't want to put on makeup, I line my eyes with this firm, mild-hued sparkler and smudge. Everyone's attention is diverted to my twinkling gaze (I think). The slim pencil's holographic exterior is very teen, but attention-grabbing glitter is fine enough for adult sophisticates. Particles come off on fingers but don't fall easily into eyes. The aluminum cap slips off a little too easily, so keep an eye on it.

    Pretty darn great

    This takes a regular humdrum look to a bit more exciting quickly. The particles are not over the top, but just glittery enough to catch the light every now and again, and create an effect that it's your eyes that are sparkling, rather than your makeup.     the pigment is strong and pretty in these pencils and creates a nice effect if that's the look you're going for but the glitter on the pencils make it painful to line the sensitive eyelid. also, the glitter doesn't stick well and ends up on my cheeks. February 8, 2008, 1:56 pm

    Glitter to the EXTREME

    I really love eye pencils so I was excited to try out these ones. They are so glittery. It depends on my mood. The product overall lasts a while but will smudge. I also noticed that the glitter didn't stay. It was all over my cheeks. I think they go on very smooth though and the packaging is so cute. They are just so...     The best glitter eye-liner I've found

    I saw a black glitter eye-liner at Hot Topic a few years ago and eagerly purchased it, hoping for an awesome night-time look. What I got was a pencil with hard glitter chunks in it that pulled on my eyelids and scratched my skin without leaving any glitter behind. I was hesitant to purchase the Hard Candy pencil because o... I was hesitant to purchase the Hard Candy pencil because of this experience, but was still hoping for a good glitter eye-liner. I was not disappointed. This glides on smoothly and leaves a nice dark line with plenty of sparkle. It didn't scratch or pull my skin and the glitter stayed put, not falling onto my face. I think this is a great eye-liner and I have only tried the black, but would love to get the other colors. September 9, 2008, 12:18 pm

    A little goes a long way! I bought this but i rarely wear it because I'm not into looking like a glitter wearing 13 year old that much. So, if i just put a very light line on my upper OR lower lide it looks fine. August 21, 2008, 9:22 am
