Eye cream gets constant mixed reviews. Does it make a difference or does it not? That's how most women feel about this one from Dove. Though the velvety texture goes on smooth and instantly brightens eyes with mica, it doesn't greatly improve dark circles or fine lines over time. This is probably because sunscreen is the only true active ingredient. So if you want to simply prevent fine lines and moisturize your eye area, this is the cream for you.

    OK - so I'm in a pinch and needed eye cream as I was out of town and forgot to pack my normal eye cream. Since I have to order it and wait, which is NOT going to work this time, I decide to take a leap of pure faith and try something new. I see this on the shelf in the local drug store and have liked the Dove brand for so...ap so what the heck. I have heard that you not only want to have anti-wrinkle, but that discoloration can make you look older too. So I swipe it off the shelf and have been using it for a month now and I LOVE it. It goes on smooth, moisturizes well without a greasy feel. December 31, 2007, 11:00 am

    Dove eye cream

    I really enjoy most Dove products, especially the Body Washs. But this eye cream is just anoth dissapointment ans far as reducing the dark circles. i always look like a raccon from chronic pain and lack of restful sleep. if anyone ever finds something that works, PLEASE tell me. i really hesitate to spend $70 or !00 to ...find out the same old ame old.     Shimmer

    The shimmer works really well to cover the dark circles. Overall this is an OKAY product i'd buy it again until i find an amazing one. This really covered my dark circles but it doesnt help with fine lines or wrinkles i dont think... well i wouldnt really know since im only 20. May 8, 2008, 4:46 pm

    Line filler

    While this may not work as well for dark circles for some reviewers, the reason I give it such a high rating is because this eye cream actually works better as a filler before you put on your make-up. When I applied this immediately before my make-up, the consistency isn't exactly like a lotion but more like a "filler..." and makes my make-up go on easier without smearing it like a lotion would.     This eye cream does give your skin tone a slight glow after using, but I didn't see a dramatic difference in my eye circles. It does a good job at giving your face moisture and hydration, but it isn't an enhancer of your eye area beyond the color. July 30, 2008, 4:31 am

    I have used the entire tube of product. The best I can say is that it creates a light, brightening effect over a short period of time, but goes little in the way of covering up or helping dark circles. The brightening effect goes away immediately upon putting on any power or tinted moisturizer. I'd prefer my tinted moistu...rizer with a concealer over this any day. July 18, 2008, 2:18 am
