For those who want the best of both worlds, these slim silver cases hold the rich color of a lipstick and the soft sleekness of a gloss. Unfortunately, the Almost line comes in only four shades -- considerably fewer than Clinique's Different Lipstick -- and has a much shorter lifespan on your lips (the color slips after a few sips of water). Apply with a brush over liner for more longevity.

    The shade Black Honey may look really dark in the tube, but it looks great applied, even on my fair complexion---a gorgeous berry-stained shade. Could last a little bit longer, but otherwise a wonderful product! November 29, 2007, 2:19 pm

    Clinique Almost Lipstick is so much better than lipstick. Not only does it look great, but it's so compact that it can fit in your pocket! Are you sick of those lipsticks that claim they stay on your lips all day? Well Clinique's Almost Lipstick doesn't lie. You might have to apply it twice a day, but who cares. It is ...worth it.     Beautiful shade, very poor staying power

    I really love the Black Honey shade of Clinique's Almost Lipstick, but I found the staying power to be a real problem. When first applied, the color is sheer and glowing and pretty, but it did not last even through my first sips of coffee.     Treasure for purse and/or desk!

    Although I own many lipsticks and glosses, this slim tube is the one I carry in my purse and keep in my desk at work for daily touchups. It easily glides on over whatever products I applied earlier in the day and keeps my lips moist and smooth without turning into a muddy color combination.     I prefer Clinique Different Lipstick

    I bought this a few years ago in Sheer Blackberry, and it ended up being much less sheer than I expected. It looked too bright with my fair skin and medium brown hair. I considered trying this in another color, but I prefer the texture of Different Lipstick, which seems just as sheer as this but feels less waxy. I eventual...ly gave the Sheer Blackberry to my mom, whose skin and hair is darker, and it looks great on her. Ingredients: Ricinus Communis (Castor) Oil, Cetyl Ricinoleate, Glyceryl Triacetyl Ricinoleate, Euphorbia Cerifera (Candelilla) Wax, Copernicia Cerifera (Carnauba) Wax, Polyethylene, Tocopheryl Acetate.     Needs to last longer

    Black Honey is a pretty color. It looks scary dark in the tube but glides on smoothly in a sheer, berry finish. At first I didn't think the color would suit my medium skin w/ yellow undertones but it actually does. It gives me that sophisticated, put together look without looking overdone. Too bad it disappears off my l...ips sooner than I prefer. At best, I can get about 2hrs off of it without eating/drinking anything. It does leave a slight berry tint when the color fades. I love the slim, sleek packaging but the lasting power doesn't make this one worth it for me. November 6, 2008, 2:12 am

    Most things IMO are not worth the hype, but Black Honey is truely worth the hype. From the sleek, ergonomic, portable packaging design to the hint of color, shiny glossy lips it gives you, it is a perfect ten. It doen't have a bad smell like some lipsticks and glosses can have, which is a major turn off for me when somethin...g goes on my lips. Don't let the color of the stick scare you because it goes on very sheer. The feel is great on lips and it lasts longer than most lipglosses do. April 30, 2008, 6:40 pm

    double your lipstick wardrobe

    I have been a fan of Clinique's Almost Lipstick in Black Honey for 10 years. You can wear almost lipstick with any of your other lipsticks or glosses. Apply it lightly for a hint of color or heavier for a richer shade. Almost Lipstick is never sticky, always moisturizing, and I find it to be longer lasting than most other ...lip glosses.     Wishful thinking

    When I was about 15 my older sister had a tube of black honey lipstick in the old green container...I stole it and found the color individual and unique. I purchased this color without even trying it because I believed it to be the same. It's not. This color is more on the mauve side than the intense blackish brown side....     Black Honey is the first real "higher end" lipstick I ever bought. I was afraid at first because it looked so dark, but it's really a pretty, sheer berry color that looks good on almost every skin color. It is sheer so if you want more color, this isn't for you, but if you are like me and go with a few simple clas...sic makeup pieces, this is a great one to have in your makeup bag.
