Almost Perfect!
I love Clinique's "Almost Lipstick" for times when I don't want a heavy feel on my lips, but I always need color. My favorite shade will always be "Black Honey." Using a lipstick brush does extend the wear. It is moisturizing, glossy, and has a natural look. My first "almost lipstick"
My aunt gave me this in "black honey" when I was a young girl getting into makeup. It's nice and smooth, with a hint of color and a bit of shine. The tube is pretty and sturdy. The price is okay for the amount of product. It does moisturize a bit, and isn't drying at all. It wears off after a couple of hours, but doesn't leave "lipstick ring" around your mouth. sleek and subtle
I got Almost Lipstick in Black Honey as one of the Gift with Purchase items a few years ago. It looked too dark in the tube, but when I applied it, it gave my lips a nice red/brown berry colour, which may be too subtle for some people. My lips felt smooth (but not shine) and I liked the natural looks which fit to my skin tone. Favorite!!
This product is incredible. It really does look great on any skin tone--I have fair skin and I wear it easily several times a week. About time!
I have been a big fan of Clinque makeup forever and have just now tried this cult favorite! It is a gel lip gloss in stick form. I like the slim profile--easier to apply without coloring outside of the lines when I'm in a hurry. It is pigmented enough to show a pop of color, but sheer enough to flatter pretty much everyone because your natural lip color blends with the shade. Clinique's Butter Shine lipsticks are also glosses in stick form, but more buttery, shinier, more moisturizing, and have a larger shade selection. These also layer well over lipsticks if you want to modify the color. It is reasonably priced, especially if you can score a gift with purchase or samples at their website. I tried the famous Black Honey which looks like a scary dark, almost black red in the tube, reads as a dusty strawberry with hint of purple on my lips a shade (think raspberry) deeper than my natural lip on my med./light warm skin tone. I think that is what the draw is. It is not long wearing, but lasts like a quality lip gloss might. I prefer the Butter Shine applied with a brush, myself, but on the other hand was not disappointed and will use it. Universally Flattering
Beautiful lipstick. Black Honey is one of my favourite Clinique colours. Perfect for a nice bitten look, or a sheer pop of colour for that I just had a cherry popsicle flush. Smells great, feels great, and hydrates very well. Beautiful beautiful beautiful colour that looks great on every one! Great for Lips
I love this lip product because it is long lasting like a lipstick and has a shiny and sleek look like a gloss. The silver case is easy to hold and makes the lipstick easy to apply. Black Honey worth the Hype
Most things IMO are not worth the hype, but Black Honey is truely worth the hype. From the sleek, ergonomic, portable packaging design to the hint of color, shiny glossy lips it gives you, it is a perfect ten. It doen't have a bad smell like some lipsticks and glosses can have, which is a major turn off for me when something goes on my lips. Don't let the color of the stick scare you because it goes on very sheer.
