My family has gone through every formula offered by Herbal Essences. We run into the same problem every time...build up. The first 2 or 3 times the shampoos and conditioners worked great and then they starting building up and giving all 4 of us (2 adults, 2 teenagers) oily roots, flakes, and frizzy ends. Paired with the matching shampoo, my hair was volumized and smelled great. I liked how my hair looked and it was decently soft, but I wish it was softer. I like my hair to look AND feel great. I used more conditioner next time, but it just weighed my hair down a bit for the extra softness. I have very fine flat hair. Because of this, my hair is oily at the end of the day. I was looking for a new product to try and give my hair a lasting style. I am familiar with the great aromas associated with herbal essences. So I decided to try the Body Envy shampoo and conditioner. It smelled great, but it did not give me the body I was looking for. I was completely disappointed when my hair felt weighed down and greasy within hours of drying.
