Must have for color treated hair

When i first began using demi-permanent color on my hair regularly 4 years ago (2004), i began my love affair with Pureology and I am still mad about it! The best product for keeping your color treated hair vibrant and fresh between colorings. I once used a very red color on my hair at Christmas and then tired of it and wanted it to go away. Usually reds wash out the fastest. The pureology kept it...read more so bright, i had to use something else to get the "Roxy Red" out of my hair! Plus the smell is unique and divine. I even catch my husband using it from time to time because the smell is so awesome. (Then i SCREAM at him, because it's so expensive. lol.) Don't be frightened to invest a little extra though. The regular sized bottle for $20.99 lasts me about 8 months - that was when my long hair reached my lower back! How much total would you spend on replacing bottles of cheaper shampoo in 8 months time?This shampoo is highly concentrated and you only need to use a little bit at a time.

My color last forever

This shampoo is great. I have my hair colored about every 6 weeks. I cannot believe the difference this product has made. My color does not fade or become dull before my next appointment. It's the only shampoo I use. I have also switched to all other pureology products and love them.

good stuff

This stuff works very well. However, when it was sold to Loreal it appears to have changed. It always seems to happen when a successful product line is sold to a major corporation. They try to make it even more profitable and the quality goes down. Part of the selling point was that it contained no water other than what was in the botanicals, so it lasted a very long time. It appears to be no...read moret as thick, so it looks like water has been added to it. It has no sulfates, DEA, or MEA. Sulfates pull color out of the hair, so if you are using shampoo with sodium laurel sulfate your color will fade faster. One worry is that it contains phalates. Phalates have been found in womens' breast tissue. It's best to stay away from products with phalates. Loreal should have them removed.

Excellent Shampoo

Great Shampoo! I started using this when my hairdresser recommended it and I love it! It really moisturizes my hair help maintain the color so my hair doesn't turn brassy. Since we have a pool in the backyard this really comes in handy after I go swimming so the cholorine won't dry my hair out.

Refreshing and Exhilarating!

This is one of the best shampoos on the market! Not only does it hydrate my hair to leave it soft and shiny, it is so refreshing on my scalp! I love the way it smells and feels, and my hair comes out so incredible every time I use it. People have actually come up to me and asked me if I did something different to my hair. This was recommended to me by my nail technician, and this is the BEST advice she has ever given to me....

Pureology Rocks!

This is the best shampoo I have ever used. My hair is course, dry and wavy. This made my hair feel amazing. It also allows me to do what I want with my hair. I recommend it highly.

Expensive but good

truthfully i don't know if i'd pay $25 for this....i got a stylist's discount. however, it is a very good product....does a great job of maintaining dyed hair color. concentrated, so a small amount does the job.

This shampoo is the one

I was recommended to use Pureology by my hairdresser, and I just love it. This shampoo is sulfate-free yet cleanse hair thoroughly without stripping away hair color. Best shampoo I've used so far. Bit Pricey but worth every penny.

Really does work!!

My hair's been damaged from so much bleaching and from hot irons. And this bottle works but after a month of using this product I probably had a skin infection to the chemical. I started getting scabs behind my left ear and as soon as I stopped using this product, it went away.
