I have a lot of fine wavy hair that's been color treated a lot of times, and could use some hydration. However, this shampoo does nothing for me. Given the price, it definitely should! I get compliments when I use this shampoo because it smells so great. Its only the purple one that smells great, the other colors are different, though not bad either. It doen't retain my haircolor all the well, but I keep using it because of it's luxurious formula is thick and luscious. I'm devoted to my cheap, all-natural Nature's Gate shampoo, but this shampoo's rave reviews piqued my curiosity, so I bought a sample-size bottle. It is indeed excellent; it's gentle but thoroughly cleansing. It contains protein, which explains why it's so nourishing. I was about half-way through the little bottle when I started to notice a significant difference in the health and appearance of my hair. I will definitely be purchasing the full size.
