  Didn't Work for me...

  I used this along with the acne kit, and although I tried to tough it out and see if it would work, I couln't stand it any more after about 2 months. Maybe my skin is just very sensitive, but it felt like my skin was burning off every time I used it. I saw no results whatsoever other than red peeling skin. I know that some ...people saw great results, but this definetely wasn't for me! May 12, 2008, 1:53 pm

  Hate this product

  I used Murads 3 step acne kit after watching their infomerical about a million times. I can honestly say that it made my skin worst that ive ever seen it. If you've ever had an underground, you know how painful they can be. My jawline, which has never had a zit on it before, was covered with underground's and it was out ...of control. Ive never broken out so much in my whole life combined than what i did using Murad. Its suppose to take about 3-4 weeks to get completly clear and at about week 6 i felt like a big inflamed blob. Since ive stopped using this product, my skin is clear and an not as irritated. They also dont tell you that you will be charged $29.95 every month for a 2 month supply that doesnt even last that long. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!! February 18, 2008, 11:26 am

  works when used with other Murad products

  I tried the Murad anti-acne line after another line (Theraputix - I'd give them a very LOW rating if I could find them here) made my face break out worse than ever with awful cystic acne the likes of which I'd never had before. This product stings a little at first, but it really clears out your pores, and it has retinol, ...which treats the fine lines on my forehead as a bonus. You definitely need to use the skin perfecting cream afterwards, to moisturize and soothe your skin, but altogether, this line is a keeper. I saw results after two weeks, and the rebound acne was light and quickly dissapated. I am very happy with the Murad line May 19, 2008, 6:48 pm

  not worth the money

  I got some of this as part of the anti-acne kit. Some of the products I loved (cleanser & moisturizer), some I noticed little to no difference with (spot treatment & this). This Gel doesn't really do much for those with smaller 'bumps' that are more like clogged pores than big pimples. I don't get big pimples, ...so I can't speak on how it will work on those... but on my bumpy skin, it didnt seem to make a difference. If you really want a treatment gel, just go to the drugstore and get one for MUCH LESS, they'll be equally effective (minimally). I would never purchase this product again. March 30, 2008, 11:31 am

  I only use this gel once a day because it's too harsh to use more than that. I like it though, because it really helps prevent breakouts all over my face. Using it once a day (and with the moisturizer) is enough for it be effective without drying my skin out. My only other complaint: the smell. ugh. But it's worth it :) November 17, 2008, 7:12 am

  When I received my kit, I didn't know what to expect. After I used this, I couldn't believe how great my skin looked and felt. The moisturizer just glides on after using this product. And you don't have to use much. I feel like this is the best part of the kit. June 12, 2008, 6:40 am

  Best Facial Serum for oily/acne prone skin

  I have used this product for years and years , in fact I have turned several other people on to this company. I have extremely oily/acne prone skin (still) and this treats my skin and helps it retain just enough moisture. I don't know that I could go without it. I have used many of the murad products and highly recommend th...e line, however I have fined tuned my routine to incorporate drug store products and prices that can do about the same (like facial cleanser/toner)., Anyone who tries the product should give it at least a month to give it a real chance.   Not good :(

  I tried the Murad acne treatment system when Proactive didn't work for me and the results have been horrendous! I used the system for 3 months, as it claims that you have to use it for a while for full results for the whole purging process to work. My skin got worse and worse. I stopped using it about 2 weeks ago and my ski...n looks 100 times better. I huge disappointment as I loved many other Murad products. June 18, 2008, 8:41 am
