It was a part of Gift w/ Purchase product some time ago. But I wonder Gentle means "gentle" for the makeup. Actually, it removed eyeshadow (after several wipes), but it was not very effective at getting rid of mascara and eyeliner. If it was a water-proof product, forget it. On the plus side, it did not sting my eyes, and it did not smell like alcohol. Interesting that it was non-oil formula, but after using this one, my eye area felt a bit dry. The positives are this is not oily and does not irritate my skin and is great to clean up eye makeup mistakes and keep in your purse to clean up smudges throughout the day. My favorite eye-make up remover. It removes EVERYTHING (including my waterproof covergirl lash blast mascara- and that product is tough!) and doesn't irritate my eyes (My eye area is really sensitive/prone to allergies). So I've been using this product for a while now. I had gotten a sample bottle that was actually a decent size maybe two years ago and I had LOVED it. It removes everything on your eyes with one swipe of a q-tip. You didn't even have to go over it twice. I got a large sample bottle recently and it's already almost gone. I would definitely recommend this to someone who is willing to spend the money because it's definitely worth it. This is the best liquid makeup remover I have ever used. It is gentle and it works like a dream. You need very little and it lasts forever. I prefer to use the flat cotton pads to remove eye makeup.
