Good on Zits; Not on Blemishes

I'm still using this sulfur based spot treatment, and I agree with its claims, that it helps with acne. Great, especially for those who do not respond well to Benzoyl Peroxide products, or Salicylic acid. It definitely dries up and reduces the inflammation of those big, puffy, painful zits. The only down side is that it really does nothing to diminish the dark blemishes left over, after the z...read moreit goes away. Also, it's very runny and turns chalky after application. Be careful, you can waste a lot of product when applying because it's so runny. It's also difficult to blend in under my mineral powder makeup, so it's better to wear at night, or staying at home. I give this a 7, because it's so very pricey for the amount you get. I would have given it an 9, if it helped with acne scars, or blemishes and dark pigmentation.

    The good stuff...

This is great for an occasional spot. Very similar to Mario Badescu's pink drying lotion. Night time use only, though - it's orangey! I'm an esthetician

    Expensive, but GOOD

This stuff really works! It has a higher percentage of sulfur than I've found in other products (5%) and it clears up blemishes fast. Only problem is that it can look chalky on the skin because it's drying. But I find that it's easy to put just a small dab on problem areas and then cover with powder. Because of its tint, it really reduces the redness of pimples.
