Gentle perfectly describes this rice-based powder scrub, which comes in a shaker. Just add water to create a paste. It removes dead skin without leaving sensitive types red-faced. And it's loaded with good-for-you ingredients like bearberry and grapefruit, which brighten skin, and colloidal oatmeal and green tea to soothe. I'm in the blotchy-red skin group and this is the only manual scrub I can use daily without irritation. The jury's still out on whether it's helping fade my brown spots.

    Fantastic

    I got a little sample packet and I'm hooked! The granules in this are ultra fine. Gentle enough to not tear up your face for the sake of exfoliation, but tough enough that it feels effective and really leaves your skin more radiant and smooth. I LOVE IT! May 6, 2008, 8:00 am

    I Use This Every Day

    This is the most gentle scrub available. A bottle lasts 4-6 months. I have turned many people on to it, and even though it is outrageously expensive, they all buy it regularly like me now. May 1, 2008, 10:47 am

    I loved it. It made my face feel smooth. Easy to use. I did not have to use alot of it to get results....Bummer though, that it is a bit out of my budget. But then again, it did make my face feel soft April 26, 2008, 4:40 pm

    Not impressed

    I got talked into buying this at a spa. First you have to wash your face and then use this. Like I need another step. But anyway, if I thought it did anything, I'd use it. Tried it once. It melted in my hands. Poured more into my hands, way too much came out, it disappeared on my face. I'm just using it up now, but see no r...   • An exfoliant gentle enough for every day use. Daily Microfoliant is a truly unique rice-based enzyme powder that micro-exfoliates dulling debris and instantly leaves the skin noticeably smoother and brighter. The powder formula activates upon contact with water, releasing papain, salicylic acid and rice actives to smooth the skin and accelerate cell renewal. Daily Microfoliant is also formulated with a unique skin brightening complex of bearberry, aspergillus, grapefruit and licorice to help balance uneven skin pigmentation. A super soothing blend of green tea, ginkgo and colloidal oatmeal calms inflammation, leaving the skin extraordinarily clear and refreshed.

  • Directions

  • Dispense about a half teaspoon of powder into very wet hands, and create a creamy paste by rubbing hands together. Apply to face in circular motions, using care around the eye area. Massage gently for one minute, then rinse off thoroughly.
