Gives a nice glow
This doesn't have great coverage but it does somewhat minimize shine and gives my dull skin a nice glow but other than that it doesn't really do much else. — 2 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Sensitive Skins Beware!
I really, really wanted to like this product as Neutrogena makes some of my fav products and they're reasonably priced. However, when first applying this product I noticed 2 things immediately that I did NOT like- 1) the brush isn't soft enough and 2) the coverage was even a little too sheer for me and I like a more sheer coverage. However what really did in this product for me was the irritation break out I had start up after wearing the product for about half an hour. My skin began to itch and then swelled into small red bumbs that continued to itch for several days even though I washed off the product as soon as I noticed the irritation. I have since found out that the product contains bismuth oxychloride which can cause irritation and/or acne breakouts. I would not recommend this product if your skin is even the slightest bit sensitive! — 3 years, 8 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Way too shiny
It's a pity this product made my face look like an oil slick, because its packaging is quite clever. The brush sheds a little, but other than that it provides easy, quick, and even distribution. It's also very affordable for mineral makeup. Unfortunately, the actual product is a sparkly mess. It didn't cover even the most minor of imperfections, nor did it look natural, it just looked cheap and tacky. — 4 years, 8 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

No irritating BISMUTH. Really nice matte finish
This is one of my latest attempts at finding the perfect powder foundation and I have to say I like it A LOT! It comes in a wide selection of colors, so finding that just right match is esier tahn with brands with only a few color choices. It DOESN'T CONTAIN BISMUTH, which for anyone who has tried mineral makeup and it made your face itch, this is probably the ingredient that makes you want to scratch your face off. It has a lovely matte finish instead of the "dewy" finish that looks awful and weird on me. It provides a surprising amount of buildable coverage. Apply lightly and it lightly tones down redness and shine, apply with a kabuki or foundation brush for a fuller coverage. Use a concealor brush or the included sponge that's hiding in it's own compartment underneath the powder for coverage that hides under eye darkness and redness around the nose, etc.. It wears beautifully all day without needing touch ups (might need if have oily skin) and color stays true without fading or turning into another color - a problem I've encountered with a few brands. This powder offers a very natural look, if you go with light or more full coverage. It's affordable at under $10.00. All around a great foundation! It's a keeper, at least until I discover something else that I just HAVE to try. LOL — 2 months, 1 week agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

FINALLY!
Right now I'm focused on getting my skin in good shape and keeping it there! Between hormones & aging, it's turned into a mess if I don't take really GREAT care of it. I've been seeking high & low for a good mineral foundation that didn't turn my already acne & oily skin into a complete mess by the end of the day and will compliment my skin care regime. As I was cruising the cosmetic isle, I came across this and said to myself "Hey, why not, it can't be any worse than anything else I've tried." I'm so happy I bought this! Seriously, I don't experience any oiliness and I live in an area plagued by humidity in the summer time - GROSS HUMIDITY! My skin has cleared up and I don't feel like I'm wearing a mask with this on. I use my Pur Minerals brush, I do the swirl, tap routine and it buffs nicely onto my face. I also notice there's not a lot of rub off, which has always been a big thing for me. Nothing worse than seeing someone wearing their makeup on their clothing or accessories - totally grosses me out. I've also found I don't use a lot of this - it buffs so nicely and evenly into my skin - perfection! For special evenings, I use Sephora's peach primer under it and it gives me a really nice glow. When the days are especially humid, I top this off with MAC's Prep & Prime Powder. PERFECT! — 1 year, 10 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 5 of 5 people said helpful

It's not a bad product...
It just doesn't look natural. I totally feel this on my skin. It clogs pores and the application is kind of faulty. The concept is good but the "minerals" are not effective. — 5 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful

Excellent But Use a Good Brush
I ran out of Bare Minerals and was groaning about having to spend the money for more. I bought this on a whim and LOVE IT. I used a medium minerals brush from Sephora to apply and it went on evenly, smoothly and finished flawlessly. I do get some powder-y-ness at times, but I believe I may not have had enough moisturizer on my dry cheeks for it to blend with. But it lasts a long time with medium coverage. This product easily covers my rosacea and freckles and looks believable and natural with the correct shade. I'll be switching to using this product regularly instead of my usual Bare Minerals....it works just as good and it way less expensive. Love the SPF 20. — 1 year, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

Flawed Dispenser
The brush does not dispense the powder properly and that is why I will not be purchasing this product ever again. I prefer the Neutrogena Mineral Sheers in compact form. — 4 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Very Nice!
I am absolutely loving this powder foundation. It covers well even acne and evens out my skintone. The texture is soft enough that it could be used as a loose powder with the convenience of a compact. I will definitely be buying this product again and again. — 1 year, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful
