As far as toners...

This toner does help to kill acne causing bacteria and exfoliate, but can cause some dryness and irritation.

Be careful when you have sensitive skin

I have sensitive skin and this product burned and stung when first used. For the same reason, I only apply it on problem areas as opposed to putting all over the face. I found that areas around the corner of mouth and eyes are a no-no as it will overly dry these areas. With that said, the product DOES work in reducing oil in problem areas (mine is on the t-zone area). I have also successfully...read more used it as a spot treatment for occasional monthly break-outs. It helps pimples heal and dry up quicker. Yes, the product doesn't smell too good but it isn't bad either. I use this product 2-3x a wk. Any more than that and I get overly dry skin. Overall an ok product.

Great Product

I used this alot with my adult acne, and even though I have very sensitive skin, it doesn't over dry, but helps with excess oil to help clear skin.

simple and inexpensive

I started using Clean and Clear products when I was in high school (read: broke high school kid who broke out), and this is probably my favorite astringent in the line. I tend to get blackheads easily (especially on the nose), and this helps to keep them at bay. It is a little strong on sensitive skin (like mine), so I don't use it in the mornings or before going out in the sun.

only the oily

Be careful with toners! I have oily skin on my t-zone. This helps. Bottom line. BUT... only use it where your skin is oily. It can be too drying for many skin types, even oily.. if used on other places. I only use this product in the summer after cleansing. As some others said, this bottle will last forever, if used properly,
