Flaky, red, burning skin OH MY.

No no no no no. I should have known that from two years of trying a Clean & Clear product here and there, and it not going well, would have prevented me from trying this but, it didn't, This made my skin burn, peel, flaky, itchy, and breakout. So if you want breakouts, this is the product for you! The pricing was fine, it looks and smells not bad, but overall just wasn't right for me.

pick something else

This is way too harsh for my skin! I like how it feels clean and tight after use, but in the long run my skin ended up too dry! Make sure to use moisturizer after using this astringent. I used it in high school when my skin broke out like crazy, but I failed to moisturize properly. So I ended up with dry flaky skin.

Waste Of Money

I have no idea what made me buy this in the first place, and I really regret it now. In the past I've refunded a number of Clean&Clear products, but I'll keep this one for now as it makes a fabulous window cleaner seeing as it contains so much alcohol. I really do not recommend this, or the brand, to anyone of any age as it is much too harsh and can damage your skin.

Made my face break out

This stuff made my face break out hardcore. I still have the rest of the unused bottle because after a few uses I had to stop.

Works well

I have been using this product for a couple of weeks now, and I have had fewer break outs. I only use it once a day, because it will dry your skin if you use it more often. I give it a thumbs up.

good for the price!

as long as you dont over-use this product, youll be happy. for the price, it works great to help clear skin and minimize break-outs. even works better than some of the more expensive toners! NOT good for overly dry or sensitive skin!

Use at your own risk....you may leave with a bigger problem than you came with...

This left my combination skin feeling tight, dry, and itchy. If that is their definition of deep cleansing, then they can keep it. It appears to be working for others though, so I will give my review an extra star.

Wouldn't want to live without it!

I have been using this product for many years. I would not know what to do if they discontinued manufacturing it. Don't forget the cotton balls and or cotton pads when you pick this up. I originally purchased this because the store I went to was out of my regular cleaner. I chose it because it seemed different from what I was normally used to and the price was real nice. I went home and tried it o...read moreut on my face. I couldn't believe all of the dirt on the cotton balls! I didn't stop there. I started doing the front of my neck and then the back. Holy smokes! Dirt City! Then I rubbed a ball on my arm where it bends and then continued to do my forearms. The results are amazing! There is so much dirt to rub off before and after you bathe. The scent of this product is also very refreshing. The scent doesn't last that long after you clean yourself but smelling it on yourself is like smelling a clean home. I also want to mention that when I first started using this product, it didn't leave my skin dry at all. I am a bit older now and do have to use a moisturizer where your laugh lines would be after using any cleaner. I highly doubt anybody would regret using this product. I think it's a great addition to any regimen. I say have fun rubbing that dirt off. It kind of reminds me of using those nose and face strips. You're like ewwww gross to everything you pull off but at the same time glad that you did!

Clean and Clear Deep Cleaning Astringent

I have three granddaughters ages 14, 12 and 11. I purchased this product after watching their self esteem take a nose dive, because they did not understand what was happening with their hormones or their complexions. Clean and Clear helped their skin and did not over dry. The grapefruit smell revived their sprit and the product helped revive their self-confidence. Thank you Clean and Clear! Maggie C
