I used this while using my step-mom's shower. This didn't take off make-up like it claims to, however when used in a hot shower as the last step on an already clean face, it made my face super soft and smooth. I dont know if it helped with preventing blemishes. I occasionally broke out while I was using it. I ran out a few months ago so I haven't been using it and I don't feel like I am having more or less blemishes.
