It really IS that good
I was skeptical when I first smelled HIAJ. Eesh. Definitely an artifical smell. But when I smoothed it on my face, it sunk in nicely, leaving no oily or sticky film, also not overdrying. Skin Feels Great!
I started useing thia when I went on Acutane for severe acne. I knew my skin would get dry so I needed something that would balance the moisture out. Throughout my treatment this product has kept my skin feeling great! I had a few times where I got dry patches but was told my skin is too acne prone for the dry-skin formula. I recently ran out of it and tryed using something else I had from before ...read morebut after two weeks of dry skin I had to buy another jar! I noticed a difference within a day! Should be "Heaven in a Jar"
Been an avid user for over three years. Love, love, love my Hope in a Jar. Have very oily, acne prone skin and am approaching 60 years of age!!! Never considered a moisturizer because of oily skin, but dryness started setting in, along with a few lines (just recently, believe it or not - great genes!). My "Heaven in a Jar" is my link to a face of someone twenty years younger. No one can guess my age, thanks to my Hope in a Jar. LOVE THIS STUFF!
I bought the line in a sample box (cleanser, serum, moisturizer and eye cream) and I love it! It all works together and is great! I saw a difference in my skin within a day. I love the smell. Makes my skin glow!
I use this along with the eye/lip cream and the vitamin c powder as a night treatment. While too heavy for a day moisturizer, I love putting it on a night. Its silky and skins right into my skin and sparkles on my skin. The packaging is a simple jar thats easy to keep in the fridge. After a couple of months I (and my bf---wow!) noticed my skin was rosy and my pores have smoothed. Worth the money because a little goes a long way. OK moisturizer, using as part of Makeup Optional kit
Decided to try the MakeupOptinal kit after reading so many great reviews. So far so good, but no dramatic resutts yet! LOL (I'm 50, look pretty good, but am always looking for the Miracle Product(s) that will remove fine lines, tighten/tone & remove discoloration!) As a mousturizer it's ok, non greasy, & I haven't broken out from it. Don't mind the rather medicinal smell. Really liked it
I really felt like hope in a jar made my skin brighter. the only thing that hinders me from purchasing again is that it has no SPF, and the SPF version is greasier. This one is very light. Hope In A Jar is a good basic moisturizer
Like many who have reviewed this product, I don't care for the smell. It's not horrible, just oddly medicinal/herbal smelling. I do like the product, at first it felt like it might be too heavy, but it soaks right in to my skin and just leaves it soft. It's a great over-all moisturizer, but not really a wrinkle cream for me. I have used it for a month and I don't see any difference in my fine li...read morenes or wrinkles. I absolutely love this moisturizer! I have normal skin, but I could see where other skin types wouldn't get the same benefot out of this that I do. It helps my makeup stay on longer during the day, and also keep my skin fully hydrated at night... no waking up with parched skin!!A little bit goes a very long way, so use a light hand when applying.
